Ok sick and tired of people telling me my computer is wooden.

I was wondering if someone qualified would answer me if I’d be able to play this game with EVERYTHING on low and run it generally smooth with this setup:

Nvidia GeForce 9400GT 1GB RAM, directx 11
Intel® core™ 2 QUAD CPU Q9300 @ 2.5ghz
6.00 GB RAM
Windows 7 ULTIMATE x64

Could my system in anyway possible be the reason im having issues mainly with the camera smoothing and delay when turning?

ps how come you only find gw MINIMUM REQ’s and not RECOMMENDED? Since minimum is usually the “you wont be able to run it but pls buy anyway” req, and recommended is usually “ah yea, you’ll run it. Go buy” req.. Just wondering since I’m BY FAR able to run this game on minimum req yet it runs like… yea.. someone without legs or sumthin. (dont count fake legs n kitten)

Please dont make me have to support MOP =)

I experienced this too on Necromancer several times. Just to let you know the issue is real.

Ive had this happen as well. I think it’s an awesome idea that the pet can take the hit if it’s in the line of fire but please don’t switch my target. =(

Also, why do you keep saying “kitten”? Makes no sense.

kitten is the word for “making love”. If u know wattamean ^-

I really want to enjoy & play this game every night, but the laggy/delayed/acceleration-effected camera controls makes it a chore

I can live with graphical bugs, camera clipping etc, but control over your character is a core part of any game – and if you don’t feel in control or comfortable with the control you have it will just always ruin everything.

I shall struggle and keep playing, but hopefully the camera control is tightened up some point soon so I can devote more time & have more fun <3

i felt exactly like you until I went to visit a friend and tried his gw and he had just litteraly almost NONE of the issues I experience at home.. Playing on his comp felt so right… So now I’m just dangit even more confused and even less able to stand playing at home…. WTF is this??

Thanks for the feedback! While there hasn’t been an “official” post on this subject until now, I want to assure you all that we are taking your thoughts and concerns into consideration. As one of the previous poster’s noted, we are currently spreading our resources among a large number of issues (account security, game security, etc.) and working towards a point where we can improve the camera functionality.

In the meantime, if you have suggestions or comments on ways we can improve the camera, please keep your feedback concise, constructive, and consolidated to this thread. While we may not reply to every comment, we’re constantly going through the forums and reading your suggestions.

This is in the game status update that was just posted:

“Downed mode camera
In tonight’s software update we will improve the downed mode camera to maintain a more consistent distance taking race into account.”

sad thing is this is the least of the problems. I’m still confident ArenaNet will get to smoothing and all the other issues tho… – Because if they truly want this game to be an e-sport its just as simple as: Fix all current camera issues or this game will never become a competitive PvP game

I’m crossing my fingers and trust ArenaNet in their ability to hear our roars

Thank you, OP, for taking the time to put these strange and frustrating issues into well thought-out words. I am having ALL of these issues, and the first day I played the game almost kept me from coming back. When I saw all the visual issues, camera issues, and mouse issues I was like “This game sucks!” and logged off. I am so happy I gave it another chance, because the game is amazing. It would be perfect if these issues were resolved.

This. ArenaNet please know that ALOT of people feel exactly like this and they are the people you can win/loose right now with/without action
