Guild Wars 2

Hi there,
After some time off i’m back to GW2. Upcomming expansion and such.
But after playing some games, what i see is my PC even at low struggles to keep up in events and such. Like i see just names, not even basic models.
I would like to play at least at high or minimum middle and still see the models/enemies apearing in time and at all.

Right now my pc is:
AMD Phenom II x4 965 at 3.4GHZ
8Gb Ram DDR3
SSD
GTX560 TI

So would like to upgrade, but don’t want to go overkill, as will need to upgrade wife pc also for same reasons

So any tips what would be needed, would be great

I need help. I was away from game around 10months and last time i player power necro was ok/good. So have a GS build with all power (berserker gear). But now started to read it’s bad and not good any more.
So need to invest into new gear.
Read that Viper gear with condi build is good. But question is do i try to gear up my necro from new, or do i switch classes? Have a tempest that i played a bit. So maybe i should go just tempest to enjoy play more. As now i feel i do not that much dmg when going in PvE.

Like title says, need help to choose which character is now good. I play PvE, Fractals and thinking on getting into Raids.

What i have is
Warrior, Elementalist, Necromancer and Ranger.
What i like most is Necro, but last time i played Power Necro was good, now i heard its not.

So what character would be best. As did not play long time, my gear is out of date, builds out of date. So want to start with one char first to gear it up to date.

All characters have Exotic gear, and only Necro has Ascended weapon.
Warrior and Necro have ascended trinkets also.
Have spear trinkets laying around if i need for other chars.

So what would be good right now? Which char, which build for it?
