Forgot to mention…the reason you are not lagging in other games, is because you are using different data centers to reach that other game. Both Wildstar and Guild Wars 2 lag for me, because I use the same data center to get to both game servers. But other games I play run flawlessly.

Unfortunately, it is not the game servers. It is, in fact, the way our internet is routed to their servers. ALTER.NET is a data center that our internet gets routed through to reach ArenaNet servers. The problem is with the data center, which used to be MCI owned, but has since been bought up by Verizon.

A couple explanations: our internet is being throttled by these data centers, or CenturyLink hasn’t paid for enough bandwidth in their lease to use these data centers, or the data centers’ equipment can’t handle the load.

But we are not alone. There are the same issues with other data centers. Level3.net and att.net data centers are also lagging…which leads me to believe these data centers are throttling. It would be a weird coincidence if all of these centers couldn’t handle the load – All 3 different ISP’s….or it’s also possible there is 1 dirty fiber connector somewhere also….who the **** knows.

I’m having the same latency issues you are having. Also on the qwest(Centurylink) Network (out of Duluth). Only thing is, I haven’t been playing Guild Wars 2. It’s happening in Wildstar, whose servers also happen to be in Texas. It seems any traffic being routed to Dallas/Houston is lagging horribly with massive packet loss. My issues are also happening at 0.xe-10-3-0.BR1.CHI13.ALTER.NET. Wildstar has told me the problem is out of their hands. Centurylink has told me the problem is out of their hands. Who takes care of routing issues?

I’m knocked down 100% of the time in the Halmi fight even without being hit. I enter the arena get knocked down before he even moves and pretty much stay that way until I die.

Update us. What achievements apply to Meta?

…Since I have 9 achievements complete, yet only 7 are counting towards the meta. And from what I recall, it was only “Case Closed” that was listed as not counting towards the Meta achievement.

Purchased about 20 minutes ago and still have not received my item. I saw the market take my 700 gems for the purchase, but does not show up under recently purchased items. Also, my mailbox is completely empty and was so at the time of purchase.

Edit: Purchased @ ~12:34 PM PST. With the recent announcement about slow deliveries, let’s see how long it takes to get my item. Current time ~1:14 PST

Edit2: Finally received my item at 1:27 PM PST.

~53 Minutes to receive an item. They need to add “ kitten slow” to their announcement.
