The very first thing I noticed when I started playing GW2 was the incredibly competent way updates were handled. The game I used to play, every new update or patch required hours of downtime. And then I start playing this one, and it just lets me keep playing for up to an hour and then I just switch to the patched version at my leisure? I was shocked.

Once again, people will complain about ANYTHING.

Ditto. First few times I went through the patching experience here I was like "Is this for real? No downtime? SERIOUSLY? "

As of right now, I like my ranger the most. And yes, I realize the lack of level 80’s :P

+1 to this. If it was me getting this kind of criticism I’d be all like “man, kitten you guys. SHAPELESS NEON PINK ROBES FOR EVERYONE!”

I’d like to add my voice to this as well. I greatly prefer the look of the old armour to this new style. The complexity and colour scheme gave the armour an organic, unique, plant-like feel, which I think was the intent in the first place.

I absolutely appreciate the work that’s been put into these new skins and I hope that the negative feedback doesn’t weigh too heavily on you. I agree that it would be best for everyone to simply add these skins as another choice in the shop rather than forcing them onto people that don’t want them and/or were happy with their characters as they were. You can never go wrong with adding more choices and option to the game

Female norn both IMO Especially for the heavy classes. You just feel so epic standing beside anything than charr smashing and slicing

You realize that you’ll delete them, immediately regret it and in a moment of boredom or desire you’ll just make new characters with the empty slots sitting there staring you right in the face every time you log in, right? Right? Trust me, I’ve been there

Hi all. I have recently deleted all my characters on a low pop server and transferred to TC. I’m looking to join a large casual guild to have people to talk with and to level my new characters with.

I would like to have kind souls with patience and willing to teach this poor noob the dungeons and fractals.

It’s important to me that the guild I join be a mature and fun place to socialize and doesn’t have any requirements from for for activity or participation. Sometimes I’ll play for 8 hours straight but then I might not log on for 2-3 days. I would like to find a large guild that always has people online since my play times vary a lot.

In game music when I feel like being immersed in the game. When I’m just doing dailies or whatever then stuff like this.

For me, it’s the crazy sizes of the weapons in this game. Greatswords and hammers are as long as a character is tall almost, and by the size are far too heavy to even be swung by a single person.

Daggers look like swords, swords look like greatswords, greatswords are over-the-top unrealistic(i know it’s just a game), and WE DON’T HAVE TWO HANDED AXES

I also find the content non-compelling and boring, at least while leveling.

My guardian: Level 67, played 86h and 21m. Died…. 158 times. I’m bad at this game and I feel bad lol
