When doing dungeon we have a full party on ts3 and the whole party will suffer from a LAG spike at the same time, The only thing that could explain that would be server Lag, I have noticed the Issue more than a few time in the past couple of weeks and would love to see something done about it!
I have heard of alot of other ppl having the same issue was wondering if others have noticed this issue as well!
That may be but I am a guild leader and most ppl DO NOT KNOW what to do as new players, it has nothing to do with hand holding it has to do with experience this game has ALOT to learn if you want to play properly and MOST of the mechanics are not know by new player so they DO NOT KNOW WHAT to look for!
I am happy for you being able to complete it but that will not be the case for the MAJORITY of players as most will need to look up a Guide long term and short term players alike XD
And there are plenty of people who will still have issues even if you walk them through it like a storybook. An unfortunate line has to be drawn somewhere, and if you take the time to look around and read the top corner it is clear what you should be doing in this instance. Patience may be required. Also, a bit of reading comprehension. And general ability to observe your surroundings.
LOL now you are Expecting every new player to learn LIKE YOU DID not every 1 does alot of ppl PLAY alone till they hit 80 and HAVE NO CLUE as to what is in this game XD
All I want is for them to account for thier NEW PLAYER base and add some EXPLENATION and to assume that they SHOULD KNOW is just moronic
And the unpleasant reality is people have to actively learn for themselves at some point. If they ever want to get better, the training wheels must come off.
Also, between your random caps and need to call people moronic, you really are not helping your case. Can we at least try to keep our disagreements civil? The moment we all go down that rabbit hole we lose valuable opportunities for discussion.
Keywords were ‘I was under the impression’, never stating that this was a fact. Plus there is only one way to go, so if you can neither figure out a direction in a corridor, nor read what is written in green on the top right corner of your screen, this might not be the game for you
From this point on I’m not going to reply seeing as you are just trolling based on the way you write and the nonsensical points you make.
I suppose I should follow this route, but I’m hopeful. One day these forums will break me of that.
I did not call him moronic I implied that expecting people to learn at their rate or know something because they do is moronic
which is true and it applies to any body not just that one individual!
and as for the training wheels you just did the same thing by saying just that, nice insulting ppl then telling some one else not to! XD

I was under the impression that you have to have completed the PS to access Season 2 and I’m sure there was an ANet response backing me up on this. From my understanding you also have to complete the episodes in order.
I’m sorry if some of the more simple players aren’t having fun but they can’t tune the game to appeal to the lowest common denominator.edit: If you want to be taken seriously, you should refrain from excessive use of caps.
You have to be 80 to access it that is all! you can join and complete it with not ever doing anything else so YA SOME DIRECTION would be nice! XD get informed then post!

So your solution is that if some one can not figure it out right away they should Quit!, and you call me the troll!
as for the top right it does not explain to interact with wall panels to distract golems so reading does JACK!
a better explanation is needed which has been my point the whole time and I think I have been pretty clear on that XD
The subtle hints the arrows give is nice but still explains nothing for new players, as for me I did not have alot of troble with this other than the bugging out so you can not interact Which was fixable, but I am a vet player!~

As I said, this was the first stealth mission ever in GW2. Veterans were as clueless as new players. It was new to all players.
That’s not quite true. Or, rather, the vets have an advantage in figuring it out.
Those of us that have played the game longer have a better general understanding of what goes on in this game, and when something’s different than normal. We’ve gotten a feel for how the devs think, and what they can do with the game. Thus, we have an advantage when it comes to figuring out something new.
It’s like getting to know someone. Once you know them well enough, then even if they trip over their own words or mistype something, you can still tell what they meant fairly easily.
Myself, I messed up a few times in this mission and had to fight it out, and I didn’t do too well with the skills I was forced to use. At the generators, I went around in a circle destroying them all, thinking that if I got them all then his shield would drop. It took me a while to realize that I’d destroyed more than there should be, and someone was repairing them. THEN I figured it out.
Which is my point as well yes, us long term players get it easier but the NEW players, which is a lot of ppl will be and are utterly lost, and to demean or expect them to know it is just asinine they should just be clearer as to what you need to do!
Players’ aren’t new to the game by this point. They have to play all the way to level 80, through the whole story until Zhaitan and then through all of Season 2.
More than ample time to get familiar with all the mechanics.LOL now you are Expecting every new player to learn LIKE YOU DID not every 1 does alot of ppl PLAY alone till they hit 80 and HAVE NO CLUE as to what is in this game XD

My point still stands. By the time you are here, even as a new player, you have accumulated at least 200 hours. You are not ‘new’ anymore at this point
Time to get into your big boy pants and try to figure the fight out instead of crying on the forums for ANet to dumb down the game even further.
LOL again with the ASSUMING you are clearly just looking to argue something we all know to be true, MY POINT STILL STANDS, ANET needs more direction on these new Event’s! XD

No the horror is ANET’s complete lack of direction for these event’s, yes long term players can figure it out but there should be some explanation on the part of ANET as WHAT you do. It has always been a problem of theirs and needs to be fixed. That is another reason they have a hard time keeping people playing!
I am a long term player and I think that it is just not nice at all for new players, People should not have to wait for someone to put out a guide so they know what to do but Most People HAVE TO! mainly because of the LACK of DIRECTIONS!
I really don’ think this is a “long-term”/veteran player thing, so much as take a moment and observe what’s going on around the area. I found the execution to be a bit tricky, but I had no problems figuring out what it was Anet intended for me to do during this Living Story. There is a fine line sometimes between “clear directions” and “hand-holding”, and I don’t envy the devs that have to make that call.

Which is WHY ANET should provide more DIRECTIONS with thier new content, Thk you for backing up my point XD

I want the bank back they were extremely useful and self control is all good but customer satisfaction is another and I am not satisfied with how they conducted this, yes the wallet is awesome but saving in the back was one of the best feature’s, and yes I know they want us to spend our gold on frivolous things but I want a few options not just being pigeon holed into one way and one way only!
