Hello!
This might seem as a noobish question, but I’m fairly new so it all makes sense!
When I play GW2 I mainly play sPvP, but I’m not quite sure where/how I should get my equipment.
I’m rank 16 at this point but neither chests nor combining stuff at the forge seems to get me something cooler than Krait, Svanir or those mechanic(?) weapons. I realise that I wont get those flaming swords, skull-plated shields, abyssal robes hammers of Yolo$wag, w/e.
Any tips?
Buy chests? (the ones for 200, 500 or 1000 tokens?)
Buy “pieces” in order to combine them at the forge? in that case, which pieces?
Component + arcane powder + xxx token + silver? crystal?
I hope someone can give a newbie some good tips!

Hey Guild Wars 2 fella’s!
I’ve recently started to play GW2 again after a long break, and I feel that I want to start from scratch, But the problem is, I find all the classes pretty interesting since they all offer a bunch of different playstyles.
I will mostly WvW and try to join some organized guild.
My plan is to level up a new character with some good healing-, buffing- or *debuffing-abilities.
*debuff – cripple, freeze, poison, weaken, you name it.
As you might understand, damage isn’t my main priority. I’ve come to a point of my MMORPG-journey where I look at the DPS-builds as “been there, done that”, I want something new.
I’ve been thinking about necromancer, the Mesmer, or maybe even a warrior.. ?
I appreciate every suggestion, tips and infomartion you can give me.
Guild war 2 is, once again, pretty new to me, but im eager to learn!
