Just defeated Champion Potoni the Massive, I have the Nuhock Proving mastery. My friend, who does NOT have the mastery was there with me fighting. He gets the award for the Potoni Masher achievement and I still have nothing for it after multiple times defeating this champion now after getting the master.

SCAR Biovac event chain seems to keep bugging and is currently once again stuck where “The SCAR team is attempting to stop the Mordrem migration toward Central Tyria”, where the npc keeps trying to repair the scrap cannon even after it is fully repaired.

Just completed Roots of Terror story with a friend. We cleared out the Chak pit for the achievement and he received his award for Chak Kill-Master while I still have nothing after trying this achievement several times now both alone and with a friend, both with and without dying. Another thing is that there was still one chak left when my friend got his achievement for “clearing” the pit, one that had somehow wondered through the wall and reached the unplayable area that you can fall into behind the blue wall at the back of the pit.

1. No rewards for 100% map completion of either Verdant Brink and Auric Basin (on a character that had 100% world completion before expansion released)

2. Fractal weapon collection not registering any of the fractal weapons – I had all fractal weapon skins unlocked before expansion released and have since obtained 2 more, neither of which registered in the collection

3. Gliding is occasionally bugging mid-air where it seems to stall and then character just slowly floats down and moves as if in quicksand or something – this was first encountered and most noticeable during the Prized Possessions event when trying to obtain all of the orbs for the Wild Dragon Chase achievement

4. Crashing after successfully completing the Dragon Stand meta-event will not allow player to reenter the completed map, meaning you miss all of the rewards that you just spent well over an hour trying to obtain

5. Oddly enough, the Avoid Traps achievement was not awarded after successfully avoiding traps during Strange Observations but it was awarded after running over the the traps and getting hit by them

6. Chak Killer-Master achievement will not complete after clearing the chak pit during Roots of Terror – cleared after choosing different paths for the story and it never completes

7. Roots of Terror story, when choosing the left path (for The Dark Path achievement) occasionally bugs – Braham continues following the player at the chak pit and you can not initiate the conversation when you are supposed to talk to him to progress in the story step

8. Also during Roots of Terror: the chak and npc clip into the hill at the top of the chak pit and can walk completely into the ground so that you can not see or target them

9. Also during Roots of Terror: in the chak pit during this mission, I discovered unfortunately that if you jump on top of the blue portal at the back of the chak pit, you can fall behind it where there is a gap that then puts you outside of the playable map where you are stuck and can fall through the world into the water below

10. Untethered achievement during Bitter Harvest is not awarded even after successfully completing without being hit with any vine wips (I assume npc and pet or summons should not count towards failing this achievement, although I have tried with ranger and necro so at least the necro should have gotten it as there were no pets or minions)

11. Flights of Fancy achievement during Hearts and Minds is not awarded even after successfully evading all attacks during the forced-flight sections

12. Hearts and Minds story step has multiple bugs during the Mordremoth fight: a) the air gusts during the forced flight section work but poorly where half the time the updraft does not seem to activate properly, b) if the shield from the npc’s during forced flight is supposed to provide protection during forced flight it doesn’t and the only option is to either get the updrafts to work or die from the ground damage, c) Mordremoth during the last part of the fight occasionally will go invulnerable and there is no way to bring him out of it (during one attempt we were stuck with the boss invulnerable and when we went down on purpose to die and reset, Caithe instantly warped to us and all of a sudden Mordremoth was no longer invulnerable, so it seems to be connected to the npc being stuck off of the land in mid-air where the ground had fallen away, d) retrying during the Mordremoth fight does not always reset the ground that has fallen away during forced flight times, making it impossible to complete when the rifts necessary for the fight are in the middle of the air, e) occasionally there are two rifts on the ground during the fight, both intractable but only one really usable

13. Bark Breaker achievement for Verdant Brink seems impossible as there are no husks with defiance bars to break

14. I have defeated Potoni the Massive in Tangled Depths multiple times and have yet to be awarded the Potoni Masher achievment

Fractals of the Mists Bug Collection

Since there is not bug report option in game regarding dungeons and/or fractals, this is to categorize the many bugs our party has encountered in 8 different fractals during our last several runs through fractals, a couple of which we had to abort due to the Molten Furnace bug preventing progression. Some of these bugs are new to us and some are ones that we have seen recurring since fractals was first implemented.

1) Molten Furnace: Continues to break despite numerous patches stating otherwise? Over and over we have gotten this as our second fractal, only to find out at the end, when the weapon testing is supposed to begin, the event will not trigger so we have no choice but to quit and lose all progress up to that point.

2) Swampland: Mossman has been bugged many ways since fractals began. Currently he can be pulled into the water, where he has no skills (he just sits still and occasionally will warp between players), as everyone can sit back out of range of the skelk and freely attack Mossman. If he can’t be given underwater skills to fight with then there should at least be a gate or something when the fight starts (like in the ice fractal) that prevents players from pulling him into the water in the first place. Especially on higher difficulties, the disparity between the time it takes to complete swamp versus either Aquatic Ruins or in particular the Urban Battlegrounds is insane. It’s also a shame that the first fractal, which is inevitably rerolled for swamp, is the only fractal in which Aquatic Ruins is possible.

3) Uncategorized: Many times harpies on the ledges will be invulnerable to attack even though they are shooting and killing you. Sometimes you fall through the level into nothing and continue to fall forever as the map becomes a tiny little dot in the distance and sometimes your fall is arrested by something but there is no falling damage, both of these forcing a re-entry in order to escape. When fighting Old Tom the fan will bug if activated a little too fast at the start, and sometimes it bugs in the middle of the fight and will not remove the poison when activated.

4) Urban Battlegrounds: It’s a bit unclear sometimes if there are supposed to be NPC allies with you or not since at the start in the huge battleground with the infinitely spawning mobs over every inch they run out and get lost. Sometimes they disappear forever and sometimes there is one or two that will reappear with you at some point once you get past the gate guard. It seems to be random the number of NPCs that may or may not be with you at some point in the fractal.

5) Cliffside: Cultists that spawn during boss fight may or may not disappear after the seal is hit with the hammer. Sometimes they disappear immediately and sometimes they sit there and kill everyone while they are all stunned for several seconds. There are also occasions where the stun only half works on someone, where they can move around freely but there are no skills available.

6) Volcanic: The final Legendary Imbued Shaman has been bugging when it is enveloped in the shield. For instance, and keep in mind this was in the middle of the area and not anywhere near one of the imprisoned villagers, the boss would pop his shield and then immediately dive and heal without ever moving from the center of the area.

7) Captain Mai Trin Boss: Players are able to kind of “cheat” their way in. For example, there is a way to bug the NPC at the start so that if you die in the boss fight, if you leave and re-enter, you will be dead at the start where the NPC will revive you and then you can run back towards the boss room and up the path to the dead end. When you do this and then start running back down it will warp you into the boss room.

8) Solid Ocean Boss: At the beginning of the boss fight when the initial two tentacles are present with all of the Irukanji: killing one tentacle sometimes will immediately initiate the second phase and sometimes (and how it has always been until recently) killing both of the initial tentacles initiates the second phase. The Irukanji present at the beginning of the boss fight sometimes will go away at the start of phase two and sometimes, as is happening more often now, they will stick around and have to be killed, even though killing those gives absolutely nothing. The tentacles that spawn during phases 2 and 3 occasionally are non-hostile, where you can sit and kill while all they do is wave around and never attack you. The tentacles that are bugging like that and are not hostile have also dropped double reflecting crystals instead of just one. Once the Jade Maw is killed, the tentacles and any Irukanji that are still left sometimes will disappear and sometimes they will stay and keep fighting.

I know there have been some others but these are fresh in my mind since we just encountered all of these within the last week and most within the last 2 days.

Joke’s on us I guess, pretty disgusted with this in general now. 20+ hours, most of that just sitting here waiting on the event to start cause let’s face it, unless you camp the area then you get thrown into random overflow that either has hardly anybody in it or just doesn’t have anything planned or set and the timing, coordination and perfection this needs is really high. Overflow never even has a remote chance of finishing unless a server group decided to go to a specific one to avoid the guesters (which just happened on my server where everyone disappeared to some super secret overflow to “get away from the kitten guesters looking for a free kill”, as they so rudely put it). Then there’s the problem with having to camp an area just to even get into your own server’s real flow – camping for hours and people going afk, then event starts and half the map is not even participating, compounding this is when these afk players are the ones on cannons, which are so pivotal to the whole fight). Even with an organized group on voip and working together it fails and fails and fails some more.

And yes, servers are completing it slowly, congrats to you that you had a large dedicated force that was willing to sit there for hours on end and try it repeatedly and camp the area just so you didn’t get put in overflow – or maybe you just happened to join at the right time and got lucky. Success may be due to carefully controlled and coordinated skill of a large group yes, but currently for many it’s also a lot of luck in being in the right place at the right time and getting past the overflow. Not everybody has a zerg guild or group that coordinates these things nor can they get into a group or server that is attempting to coordinate.

A slight health nerf or an extra min. or 2 on the timer is badly needed and something small would not ruin your elite dragon fight. I’m sure you would still fail plenty with some small change but at least players would have more an illusion of being able to finish rather than quitting after the first 2 min. go poorly and make the whole thing already impossible.
