How can we get this noticed by the right people, that we want WvW geared dual/team fight arenas in SPvP?

You know, I’m not demanding that you be forced to play on these custom servers if they exist.
So far you haven’t come up with a single solitary reason or sound argument against the idea of PvE enabled custom servers.

It’s clear to me now that you don’t have a fully geared character.

You cannot recreate a lot of builds in SPvP, which is why this thread exists.

This is all I’m asking for.

There is currently no way for friendly 1v1 duels or team based fights in PvE gear, why do we not even have an option?

Obviously PvE gear servers wouldn’t count towards rankings since they’d be unbalanced as soon as a noob enters, but Jesus Christ – people just want to duel and you people are acting like I’m demanding SPvP be removed from the game entirely.

I FULLY understand why SPvP is about balance and why it needs to be that way, why it was made that way and why it should stay that way.

I’m simply suggesting an OPTION upon server creation to allow PvE gear in your server.

If you don’t want to fight no-lifers in amazing their gear, don’t join the PvE gear servers.
SPvP will remain untouched and people can test the gear that they spend the entire game acquiring.

What’s the problem with that?

You mean broken op builds with kitten crit dmg, confusion and so on right?

I have 3 level 80s that each destroy those builds, so no, not right.

I just want a chance to fight either 1v1 or in small teams using the gear I’ve spent hundreds of hours gaining, against other people who have their own armour they’ve spent their own time gaining.

I can’t think of any possible reason to not have this as an option on private PvP servers.

I think it would be a fantastic addition to SPvP, to add specific PvE gear servers where people can join.

There is nothing unfair about this since if you don’t want to fight people with max level gear, go into the PvP gear servers.

The reason for this is that for people like me who spend many hours getting their characters the best possible gear, builds, strategies and combos; want to fight people.

This just isn’t possible at the moment because if you enter WvW you will almost never find solitary people or small groups, and any 1v1/1v2/2v2 fight etc, quickly turns into a 1v10/1v50.

The very best builds cannot be recreated in SPvP as there aren’t enough item choices to allow you to do so.

Working for a long time to get the best armour and then not be able to use it in non zerg situations is a real letdown, I’d love to be able to fight in my full gear, against other fully geared people.

Just my thoughts.

Nah I don’t really take my names seriously, my 80 thief is called The Thief lol.
This way I will never forget the travesty that happened today, I’m also getting a four paragraph tattoo on my chest documenting today’s events.

But the character was made in fun as a joke, what’s the harm?

So I came online to play my Engineer through her storyline a bit today when I was greeted with a box telling me to change my name.
For what reason?
I DON’T KNOW.
There’s no reason explained or any sort of explanation as to why this is happening, I’m just told to change my character’s name.
I see zero logical point in this forced change.
I was happy/amused to get the name Gwen Stefani on the first day of the head start, and I’ve had hundreds of people comment on it and also be amused at my choice in name, and now I’m being forced to get rid of it.
My thief is called The Thief, are you going to force me to change that?
How about my other engineer called Adam Sandler?
Or my necromancer called Samwinchester?
I really hope this forced name change can be canceled because I’m only going to change it to Gwen Stefani with some sort of accent on one of the letters, which will render the entire ordeal pointless.
Also my character’s face looks exactly like hers because I’m a complete creep who had lots of time on his hands so whenever I look at my character’s face I’ll be reminded of the crime Anet has committed on her.

So community, I’m going to see what you think of this, so hopefully arenanet can see what you think of this, and hopefully all this can be undone and forgotten.

I’ve also gotten the mysterious woo woo noise.
I’ve got about 200 hours played and the only two time I’ve ever had it were on the same night, when I was in WvW.
