I meet all the minimum specs, have tried countless fixes (the youtube fix, lowering my all of my options as low as they will go, messing with the nvidia control panel for hours, and even overclocked my CPU). Nothing has worked.
Windows 7 Professional
Nvidia GTX 260 OC’d
Core 2 Duo E6400
4GB RAM
Yes, it’s not a great computer, but with everything Off/Low, with the lowest possible resolution, less than 20FPS is unplayable. Terribly optimized game.
The minimum requirements they specified are a lie right now anyways. I meet all of them and the game runs awfully.
Thank you for the responses so far! I have never done any overclocking in my life, are there any recommended guides I should follow/ones you have used before?
Recently my brother mentioned to me Guild Wars 2 came out, and having been a busy time in my life lately I had completely forgotten. At any rate, I checked the specs and was slightly worried, but I figured I was above the minimum and should be able to run the game decently at low settings. Specs below
Windows 7 Professional 32-bit
Intel Core 2 Duo E6400 (2.13GHz)
Nvidia GTX260 Factory OC’d
4GB RAM
Yes, I know I am going to get a lot of “Lol, your PC’s a joke, upgrade fool” and while I would love to, I just graduated from college and do not have the funds to buy a new computer (which I would have to do). Now, I have read a lot of people even with very good PC’s are getting bad FPS, which gives me some hope, but even if they fix the issues am I still screwed? I get no more than 20FPS pretty much all the time. I didn’t expect/want the game to be pretty, but even with everything on low/off, and the lowest resolution, it still runs terribly. Diablo 3 and Skyrim run fine, as does WoW on max settings, but I realize this is more CPU intensive.
At any rate, figured I’d see if I wasted my $50, I was hoping to play with my brother but maybe I’ll have to wait until I can get a new PC.
