If I had to guess, I would say this has to do with level scaling for WvW. A level three character scales that 1 perception up quite a bit to make a much greater impact at level 80.
This is not a definite answer, but my best guess.

Ah, yes. That makes sense now. Jeez, they really take you to the cleaners for using their auction service, don’t they? It’s almost enough to make a person want to go back to yelling about trades in the East Commons.

Okay, I did a quick search and didn’t see a topic about this yet. So either it’s new or I’m missing something so basic that nobody has bothered to bring it up. Either way, here goes.

I have noticed an incongruity between the listing fee and the projected profit of items I put up for sale on the trade post. If I put up an item for 1g, it shows the listing fee at 5%, 5s. But then the projected profit is 90s, suggesting a 10s listing fee, exactly double what it should be.

Is this a bug, or am I just missing something?
