They have scrolls you can get (year anniversary, not sure where else), that’ll level you to level 20. After that, there are scrolls in PvP rewards that you can give to a new character for a level a piece.

I usually just run around with the birthday exp buff on, but I tend to not try to level fast.

Could you give me the specific names of the scrolls and are they expensive? The PvP ones I mean. So if I get 80 scrolls, I can get to 80 in a matter of minutes if I get them on to the other character?

Don’t want to compare the game to other MMORPG’s but I want to ask, in WoW, once you hit max, you can get heirlooms which speed up the process of leveling up your alts.

Is there anything similar in GW2?

Just curious if Molten Tools are still available to purchase with gems. I got 1500 gems the other day so yeah, hopefully able to purchase those.

Also, in your opinion, what is the best/quickest way to make Gold? My personal opinion would be dungeons or possibly farming.

Must have read old data as Vigil Keep is no longer the main game hub….LA is again (but it’s kind of fragmented as there are about 4 major areas of crafting and trading NPC now).

But to get to Vigil Keep, exit LA north and just follow the road North….it leads to Vigil Keep (NE corner of Gandaran Fields). There is no reason to run to Gandaran Fields from any other Cities as all of them have portals directly to Lions Arch (the were moved FROM Vigil Keep recently). There is no real reason to go to Vigil Keep now (other than normal story missions or equipment NPCs).

Hmm, very strange. Went on it the about 2 days ago and the whole centre of LA where everything usually was, was all destroyed. Strange indeed. I’m reinstalling the game again now anyway since I reformatted so hopefully that will fix it.

So I took about a 3-4 month break from GW2 as I had exams and personal commitments so yeah, I honestly forgot about the game as I got to 80 and kinda couldn’t be bothered creating a new character. Anyway, I was in my local game store and saw a gem card and bought it with the leftover cash I had from buying my new headset so yeah, I decided to get back into it again.

Since I pretty much knew LA as the main hub me and my friend decided to start new characters and try and get to 80 ASAP. Once we get to LA, we literally just said to each other, “WTF!?!” and we read up about going to Vigil Keep and we really couldn’t be bothered about running all the way to gendarran fields just to get to Vigil Keep, they really should add an asura gate to Vigil Keep from the main starting cities instead of LA if that is going to be destroyed.

Can someone please correct me if there is an easier way to get to VK?
