This is still an issue, I have completed Hearts & Minds but I have no idea which character I started the collection on. I was just checking old achievements for ones I could complete, and this stands out. Very frustrating.
I wholeheartedly agree with LionPride. I too have seen our server and other low population servers lose what community they had. Most people who stayed on a low pop server did so for a reason. Under the old system if we were dissatisfied we could have easily moved to a higher pop server. It may not be as much about server pride as it is play style, and a community of like minded players along with pride thrown in for good measure. Today I could move to a higher pop server if playing with blobs was what I want but I choose to stay with a low pop server.
That being said much of what I liked about the low pop servers and fighting in wvw has been destroyed by server linking. We are now at the mercy of the host server we are linked with. If the host server has a similar play style then its not too bad but if they are different then we are stuck with the straw we drew for two months of no fun for us.
I can’t say this any better than LionPride did so I will quote here
“All the smaller servers are just numbers and placed where ever Anet decides. We just fill a gap and we don’t matter. While host servers enjoy a rank , smaller server just get tossed around like a hot potato”.
I’m quite sure the high pop servers would see this a bit differently if they experience what we do with no choice in the matter and were forced to play in a different style for a server they do not belong to for the duration of the link. Then only to be thrown in with another server you do not belong to and have to fight for them.
Well said.
Since linking I have also been in every single tier but one thing has remained the same, our server contributes but gets no recognition. I really like my wvw buddies and miss all the ones who have drifted off to other games since the real impact of linking hit home.
I am not sure a new vote would yield a different result, but it might be time to take the temperature of the wvw community on linking again. It clearly has not worked as intended for many players.

I reported this a few weeks ago, other players are experiencing and posting about it as well, but it is not appearing on the known bugs list.
Roots of Terror Achievement has a bug. The final Chak killer where you kill all the Chak does not give you the achievement even after all the chak are dead. The other two, kill one chak and kill ten, work just fine.
Can confirm this is still bugged, tried it 3 times tonight with guildees, no success.
I have credit for every step of the Explorer achievement “Mordrem Problems” except – “rescue the captured workers”. I have completed the rescue event numerous times and have yet to receive credit for it. So my achievement for Mordrem Problems remains incomplete.
Am I missing something I should be doing? It seems pretty straightforward. I have spoken to the event npc both before, after and during the event so it’s not that.
I have reported this as a bug in-game a few times but it has not resolved for me.
Perhaps I am going to the wrong event? As I understand it, the event spawns north of Viper Waypoint.

Thanks Kuru, I tried searching with many variants, could not find any previous thread on what I would consider, an easy-to-fix problem.
I have not found anything regarding this problem in the forums, so I would like some suggestions regarding this issue.
On our lower-tier server we have a problem with “trolling” guilds. When a major keep like Garrison is recapped the keep is often claimed by a guild that is not known to the WVW players on our server and no buffs are implemented. So, when the keep is attacked we have no buffs to help us defend or repair. After some discussion, I would like to suggest that claims should “expire” after an hour with no buffs. We only have a few active WVW guilds and we must move our claims around so just claiming and sitting on a site to prevent this is not an option.
Any thoughts?

So I missed the announcement too, as did so many others, and I still have an inventory full of stuff I intended to trade. I rarely visit the forums but I would have responded to an in-game mail. In this instance, I believe ANet has been disrespectful to me, my time and my money. Open up the vendors until the whole event is completed.
I am very disappointed in this event. The whole thing seems to be aimed at people who do well in jump puzzles. I don’t do well and avoid them whenever possible. All the racing, all the sky crystals and the find the kite events are all for people who like to do jump puzzles.
At this point I don’t think I can complete 16 for the node which makes the whole event very frustrating and annoying.
Perhaps I am in the wrong game? This is not fun but I have invested so much time into this.
Is Anet sending me and others who don’t like jumping a message to leave? I would really appreciate it if Anet would have events that were more equitable.
