Guild Wars 2

So tonight a few of the Thrustmasters International [tmi] guys got bored on JQ and having all of SBI borderlands conquered. SBI were putting up a good fight and sneaky attacks, was great fun.

Eventually though we pushed them back to their hill, this is when we decided to play a game. We got as close as we could (when a one guy had some lag issues) and died.
We tried to res him… then we got closer and died.

It became a game of who could get closest to them, die and try and res your team mate. Also became an interesting challenge to come up with plans on HOW to res them that close.

Huge shoutout to the SBI guilds who helped us have our fun as well as fighting back at 1-4am server time. SYN, KDC, BYOB, HK, CRNG, Yaki, LS
Also shout out to the JQ Crew who jumped in and help us res or played/laughed with us!

In the interest for anyone wanting to know the breakdown of spots and what is happening.

HoD looks like they have a small group are are capping camps and towers where they can, have been for the last 12 hours or so, just jumping from each.
SBI had fought hard against us and capped a lot twice in the last 24 hours – which took a few hours to get back.

And now it is back to this. We will wait and just defend up until they organize an attack again. SBI have been good, they threw some tactics in the works today and was awesome fun, so many good battles.

With how much moving the game needs us to do (and allows/teaches us too) evades, jumps, strafing… getting a kill mid fight and trying to hit F while concentrating on the rest of the battle is so hard.

Agree to this idea, drop it auto… or put the bag of loot IN our bag

You know you can get badges of honor from the jumping puzzles located in each area right? Borderlands drop 4-8 (and it is different for each Borderland) and Eternal drops 6-10.
So that’s like 18 to 34 per day PER character (since they are account bound) as long as you have the chance to get in there. If you’re team is holding all the map, jump in on every toon and get it done to get those badges. Should only take 1.5 hours tops to get all 4 done.

Alternatively I was in WvW the other night – played about 2 hours, got about 40 badges and 100 odd kills. It helps to be part of some organisation and playing your role well in that group, whether it be big battles or small group capping camps.

As an Australian player, I play when I can in the morning or nights (here). But why should I be disadvantaged in my peak playing time with my guild because I live here (as OP suggested).

I agree there is issues sometimes (like wanting to get good fights in at night, but only to find we own 90% of the map or own 5%) but setting times for bonuses/WvW etc limited it just to the NA (or EU) people to play and get that… just doesn’t seem as fair.
