My take on the 0/0/30/30/10 AH build — (4400 effective power, 51 percent critical chance, 96 percent critical-damage bonus, and 2918 armor.)
IMO, scholar runes work very well with an AH build considering the self-healing potential — I am still testing it out, but I figure I spend way more than the 24% of time required to outshine Ruby Orbs. My initial impressions are that I spend around 40-50 percent of the time at or very close to 90 percent health.
This is not a glass tier DPS build, but for me it is definitely a happy medium with solid group support and respectable DPS. Plus, I always have my Warrior and Mesmer if I want or require a DPS character.
