I just did a 45 minute long story instance for the second time. The first time, I dc’d in the middle of it and logged back in to see I’d have to start it all over. I didn’t play again for 2 days.
Now, tonight, I got through 95% of it. I was at the very last NPC conversation when suddenly the game boots me to character select. I logged back in a split second later to once again find myself having to start the mission ALL OVER AGAIN. I now have no desire to play for another few days. It’s so god kitten tedious.
Why is this a thing?
maybe its his build? what does he play?
That’s another one of his issues. He keeps jumping from class to class, but he says his favorite is Guardian. Idk specifically what build he uses
So, after FINALLY getting Dekaron out of my life, I have decided to purchase Guild Wars 2 for a friend of mine so we could play it. We both are pretty PvP focused MMO players but I also love playing the actual PvE aspect of this game sometimes. Anyway, he decided to delve right into SPVP and dear god, what a ragefest it has been.
I’m not good at SPVP either, but I at least am willing to play the actual game and get the hang of things before attempting to PvP. But he refuses to play the PvE side of things. And now I feel as if my $30 is going to waste and he is going to stop playing because he doesn’t want to take the time to learn. He expected to go into PvP on his first day and just slaughter people, but he’s the one getting slaughtered and he says it isn’t because he’s unskillful, it’s because he’s getting pilejacked by tons of people by himself.
The obvious response to this complaint is that he needs to pay more attention and follow his teammates, but he isn’t listening to me. Help me out, community.
Yeah I played pretty hardcore during the couple weeks during release and I understand most things already, of course I spent most of my time exploring so I didn’t get very high.
It sounds to me like the knowledge I left with is pretty much the knowledge I still need. So thanks for the responses
Alright sounds good. I just didn’t know if there were any significant changes to gear, crafting, or story quests that would make my current character lagged behind.
I first started playing during the early access for pre-orders, and played for a few weeks. I managed to get a level 56 warrior but realized that my computer was completely unable to do world vs world.
I just got my new PC up and running and want to return to the game, however, I’m sure a lot has changed. Probably so much so that I should probably just start a new character.. right?
I’m sure I’m not alone when I say that I’ve played multiple MMOs that have had an option in the graphics settings to disable skill effects for everything but your own player’s, right?
Just think about it. How much lag do you think people experience in WvW during sieges, or even during big dynamic events, just from skill effects? A lot, i’m assuming. My suggestion is simple, add in an option in the game to disable skill effects of other players.
