Our brand new 1on1 cup is really heating up. Congratulations to last week’s winner Aurora Legend, and runner up thijsken!
In these best of three matches, you will have the chance to showcase your ability on a far bigger scale.
Pick your top three classes, then go one-on-one with your opponent. The winner has to pick another class, while the other player has to stick to his/her current class.

The rules need updating, the banned traits are still using the old trait system and there are new tanky amulets (like sentinels) that need to be added. Also, is the 120s cd elite before or after cd reduction?

The 120s cd-rule applies to the standard cd of the elite skill.
We’re considering the changes to the rules, thanks for the feedback.

Starting the 10th of July, the Guild Wars 2 Open League will be a test of skill over a variety of classes. It will feature a group stage, followed by play-offs to determine the winner.
In these best of three matches, you will have the chance to showcase your ability on a far bigger scale.
Pick your top three classes, then go one-on-one with your opponent. The loser of each round must switch to their next character, until the last man standing goes on to the next game.

Center of Foefire is better if someone is going to cast this. Beach area is a terrible area for actually watching and isn’t much better for duels.

So, in short, all I ask is 1 day per week, that is free of commanders, they won’t be able to tag up. I took Friday as an example, that’s reset day so I thought hey.

Why?
Because I like the small showdowns and skirmishes that you have when people have no zerg to follow.
I thought of this when we were commanderless for a while, we had skirmishes all over the map, small showdowns, which are, imo, way more fun.

What do you think of this?

Hello,

I have linked my account with an authenticator through an app on my phone. At first it worked great.
But when I try logging in at a different location (an ‘unknown’ location), it asks me identify myself. When I give in the code my app gives me, it says it’s incorrect.
Although it had worked the first couple of months it seems to have been ‘broken’ somehow, how can I fix this? Unlinking it requires me to give in a code, so I can’t do that.

Hi all!

This morning I was playing Guild Wars 2, through a tunneled internet connection, as extern server connections are blocked.
Because of this, my connection wasn’t very good, and as I was walking from The Heart Of The Mist to Lions Arch through the Asuru Portal I lagged and the game crashed on me.

When I restarted the game, I couldn’t access my character, all the others were fine, but the one that I was playing on when the game crashed. Giving the error code given in the title, and a message saying that I should wait a couple minutes before retrying.
This has been like this the entire afternoon. So that didn’t help. :D

My view on the error: As it lagged out I walked through the portal, when it started lagging I walked back and forth, through the purple circle.
I think that because of this, the server thinks I am at 2 places at a time (1 lagged out in HOM, 1 teleported to LA. This is plausible as I get both loading screens when logging in on my character (HOM -> LA -> HOM -> Error).
Because he can’t let me spawn in both areas, it crashes.

But this can be entirely wrong of course, but hey. :D

Well, this is my problem, and as it is occuring on my main (waiting for castles to be captured on WvW for map completion), it is quite annoying.
