Hi guys, I would like to understand more on how our pets work.

1. The amount of damage in our hero panel, Does that reflect just ours or both Hero & Pet.

2. I dont like the idea of Bunkering cause i have the mentality of doing solid damage with my Ranger. I know many will say if you wanna dish out damage play other prof like war, but i just wanna do damage with Ranger.

3. I was hoping a good BM build/any other build, prefer BM would be able to achieve what I want. Maybe I could some feedback. I love Pets thats why I play a Ranger. I wanna fully utilize them. Any advice

Secondly I would like to clarify the use of Fortifying Bond. If I was in a group, and someone buffs everyone in the area, does my pet not get the boon even being in the area WITHOUT FB. Or those the buff apply only to characters and require FB for pets.

Thanks for the advice WonderfulCT. Just wondering, If i was to remove my 30 points from Marksmanship, and transfer it all to BM. Will my pet be able to dish my the dps that I lose out? Apparently the skill calculator doesnt take inton consideration and combine the pet damage. This is assuming I am using a Feline as my pet

Hi guys,
I am quite new to Guild Wars 2. Playing a Ranger levle 31.
I love the feeling of pets, at the same time, I believe in dishing out a solid dps.
I was looking to put 30 pts in MM, 10 in Skirmishing for the critical trait for pets and 30 pts in BM as it the points i realise helps boost the stats of my pets.

My weapons are Longbow and GS.

Could I have some honest feedback
