Guild Wars 2

Hello all,

I recently have decided I really want to start streaming, as I think me and my friends do a lot of random and comical things. However, I have been looking for days and I cannot figure out how to make a good looking overlay. I have tried various Photoshop type programs and watched youtube videos, as well as looked up different websites. Unfortunately, I have had next to zero luck and can’t seem to get things together. If anybody could assist me I would greatly appreciate it.

Little bit of info: I’m looking for something that looks good. I have seen some streams with people’s characters blended into a background and it contains their account name and guild. I’m hoping to get something like this that I can put in the corner of my stream over the chat. I use a 1920×1080 monitor. I uploaded a screenshot of the base that I started. The left big white square is my chat box where I was thinking the picture would go. I also was thinking of a border along my skills bar (on the bottom of the page) and along the map (the bottom right checkered square). The next post in this thread I’m uploading will have a few different poses of my character.

I was just wondering what the Ice crown is called in gw2 and how you get it. I know it’s a HoM reward from gw1, but I can’t find any links on how to obtain it or any information on it. I’d love to hop back on gw1 to get it. Thanks!

So I’ve been browsing through the forums and trying to find a new armor set for my Mesmer and I stumbled upon this but can’t figure out the skins for the life of me. Can anyone tell me what they are?

So currently im thinking of making a wvw character so i can easyily go back and forth between dungeons and wvw without constantly switching up builds. However, my main character right now is a mez and as of now im full bersk. Im wondering if i should do pve and map completion on my mes or on an ele. I want a pve and a wvw char and im not sure if i should make my mez wvw and make an ele for pve and map completion or if i should pve on my mes and make an ele for wvw. I like caster types and i also like the eles mobility. With the current mez nerfs idk if shes the best pve wise now. Any opinions? Im posting this here because there isnt really a pve section specific to all im asking and its wvw related too. Whatz gonna be better for dgns and easyier to do map completion on? I cant decide and am unsure if map completion would be faster on an ele cuz of mobility and the dmg. Or if eles dmg is same as mez. Id prob go staff and dd ele. Any thoughts? Which to play where? Atm my mez is 80 and full pve. And my eles brand new. But i only have 36% map completion on my mez so far and it seems hard and long. Thanks for your opinions.
Btw its 1am and im on my phone typing this sorry for spelling errors.

P.S. I do PvE only, I haven’t really done WvW and don’t plan on it until I get a pvp set and that will be after map completion and skins.

I’m a guy looking for an active guild on tarnished coast to do dungeons, dragons, living stories, guild bounties, and other fun things with. My main is an 80 mez with her exotic gear, currently farming dungeons to learn the paths and get a bunch of cool armor skins, as well as finishing my ascended accessories. I’m very very active and earn my current guild, which is made-up of friends that don’t play much anymore, a ton of influence points daily. I can take on any role necessary and help out others, I love farming nubby zones so helping out people is not a problem. I’m in the future making a thief or a guard or something, haven’t decided; too in love with getting a ton of skins and gear for my little Barbie doll Mesmer.

My only catch it I really want an active guild with tons of people, and I really want a guild with team speak/vent for chatting, I always have my headset on and I love looking stuff up so I can answer most any questions as well.

Hello, So I’m fairly new to the game and I was thinking that to go with my pirate weapon at level 40 I should get a good armor set for around 35/40 to use for awhile. The only problem is all the green gear is mismatching and all over the place. So I’m thinking a masquerade level 35 set and ill put runes in them to make them better and level 39. I’m thinking about my gear because I like to plan ahead, and I can’t seem to find any decent karma sets or anything and I’m trying to close the gap between now and level 55 where I am trying to buy a winged set because it looks amazing. Is a rare 3x set with runes a good set to use until than? or do I need to get a like 50ish set to hold me off? I’m going for looks with my gear, nothing sky expensive but for the looks and some stats the price is worth it. Thoughts on if the masquerade is worth it or not? My other choice is to use the 35 masq and than get the next level 50 masq. set, but I’m not sure. Any tips on gear sets to close the gap between low level and higher level good looking gear?
