Thanks for your input. :-)
Hi guys.
This topic is about PVE.
I’m really liking the gameplay of both the warrior and the elementalist. Thats why I am having a bit of a hard time deciding which one to focus on. :-)
I have always loved to idea of being support focused and helping others by buffing, rezzing, healing, protecting, removing conditions and so forth.
So seen solely from a support role perspective, if you could choose only one, would you prefer to have a support specced warrior or an support specced elementalist in your group when dealing with challenging PVE content?
If possible, please elaborate on why you would choose the one over the other. This could really help me decide on which one to choose.
I have asked the same question in the Warrior forum as well.
Thx a lot. :-)

I think Thieves with shortbow is the best way to farm events. That is my personal opinion anyway.
The thief can get very fast around the battlefield, and the shortbow has incredible AOE capabilities for event situations.
Moreover, because a thieves abilities are limited by initiative and not by cooldowns means that you can burst several AOEs when you need it and recharge initiative while waiting for the next pack of mobs.
Elementalists come in second. While they have awesome AOE as fire with staff its not as good as the thief with a shortbow, as explained.

Yes it is fixed. It hasn’t missed one single time for me since the patch.
I’ve played since the update (couple of hours ago), and haven’t seen heartseeker miss once.
So i think it’s safe to say that the bug has been fixed.
Yes I’ve started to recognize a pattern with lowered/elevated terrain too.
Hope this will be sorted out soon so dagger mainhand gets it’s full potential back. :-)
Take a look at this awesome guide made by a user named Kirin. It really helped me in dungeons with my Thief.
Sword offhand ability 4, Impale, only applies 1 stack of bleeding, even though it says to apply multiple (4) stacks of bleeding.
In comparrison, sword offhand ability 5, Riposte, also says to stack 4 bleeds and it does it. So im pretty sure Impale is bugged.
