This is getting ridiculous.
I can’t play for a week. NVidia finally releases drivers that work. I play with NO issues for a couple days. Then GW puts out a patch and now I crash again after 2 minutes in game.
I’m this close to just asking for my kitten money back. I’ve never even had this many issues with games that are still in Beta, forget about something that was released.
I haven’t seen any crash logs generated.
It’s not an overheating issue. The game doesn’t even get a chance to warm up my video card, and I haven’t had any heat issues with any other game.
Also I checked the temps and they are fine.
I really do like GW but with all the crashing issues I see, I suspect kittenty code.
This is the first time I’ve ever bought a game and literally not been able to play it.
I got the game before Christmas, and was able to play for a week or so without any problems whatsoever.
Suddenly, starting this week, the game crashes constantly. If I’m lucky, I can play for 40 minutes then my screen freezes, whole computer locks up requiring a hard reboot.
Mostly, though, the game locks my entire system up before the screen even completely loads. I can see most of the world and my character, but the buttons and such aren’t even fully rendered when BAM.
I’ve tried a few sets of drivers to no avail. I’ve set all the graphics settings in-game on low. No help. I underclocked my graphics card. Still crashes. I searched my case for dust, but it’s clean. The PC isn’t brand new but I’ve never had any hardware issues at all.
All fingers point to a driver issue, but I can’t get the kitten thing to work.
Current setup below. If you need any more information or logs, let me know.
