so in short :

During the first tournament two 500 man WVW guilds disagreed on the match ( one wanted to throw the match or they would leave ,the other to win the match or they would leave )

They lose the match and one guild leaves .

Then afterwards the other one leaves as well .

Now lacking coverage , SOR kept losing matches causing them to sink down the ladder,and in turn, caused more and more guild to leave , until finally they where bled out at the very bottom .

Have i got this right ?

I’ve only been playing GW 2 for a year now .so i missed all of that so i was wondering :

What happened to SOR to go from a top T1 server to dropping all the way to dead last in T8 ?

Obviously , the reason for that is that most WVW guilds left to go to greener pastures , bleeding the server out .

But what was the trigger that caused this massive exodus ?

First is the Silverwastes .

I feel like i am missing something that others see making it the best place to farm .
I’ve done all the meta events ( chest farm , VW and labyrinth ) multiple times and while the loot is plentiful it hardly seems an improvement over cursed shores nor as lucrative .

How can i maximize my profits made in the silverwastes ?

second question : i currently have one of the new Black lion skins ( shadow ,i believe ) in my bank .

Should i wait to sell this untill it raises in price or should i sell it now ( 100 G) and the wait is not worth it ?

While that is indeed hilarious , the reason most people ran of the cliff was not of their own accord .

A necro placed a fear wall there so anyone running through it would run automatically off the cliff .

Always bring a stunbreaker along when Running in EOTM or WVW .

These wings are a perfect match for my Mesmer .

Since S3 will likely go about trudging deeper into the center of the jungle to beat Mordy and shaking hands with Mursaat , it seems certain that Multiple ep’s will take place in the jungle so can we conclude that S3 will be exclusive to people who have bought HOT only ?

I am not complaining about it since ill be there day zero but i was curious .

I have been interested in joining a T1 server but i have a few questions :

1) Most of the t1 servers are shown as full , making a transfer impossible , are there time periods where they aren’t full ? or is it permanent and you need luck of the draw to get a spot open ?

2 ) Most of my guild resides on Stormbluff isle Server but due to the megaservers i can still play with them for guild missions dungeons etc ,,, regardless of server , My question though is when on different servers, is it still possible to get on the same map as some of the SBI Server Events ? SBI teq guild spawn ,triple wurm etc , or meet some of my guildies on a random map ?

IIRC during open beta testing, they removed the condition cap once ,

the map crashed within seconds.

After the blog post has revealed the Revenant’s colours as white and red, I think ill make her gear white, and her fur either white or a light grey.

If you have an empty character slot you can make a generic character and give it the name you want to use for your revenant .

Come HOT release day , you can delete that character and make your revenant with that name as they are "saved " to your account for 24 hours .

I decided to run with a future Charr Revenant named " Charrdi Laforge " :p

Do be aware , OP that certain parts of this armor are restricted to human characters only namely , the boots and the gloves .

During Microsoft’s Windows 10 Reveal conference yesterday Phill spencer claimed that DX 12 , which will be exclusively to win10 ( and Xbox One ) would up performance gains by up to 50 % by spreading the CPUload more evenly across all cores .

Now i realize that that number might vary from System to system , Game engine to game engine but if it works as advertised could we see high performance gains in GW2 in Zerg like situations ( teq , WVW any world boss even ) ?

With the new daily system there are no more Black lion salvage kits anymore to get easily.

Because of this is buying rares/ exotics with tokens , salvaging them and selling those items on tp still a viable way to make gold ?

If yes , is there a suitable replacement of the BLSK ?

Or it could wind up being the next biggest disappointment.

It’s always possible that they took that stage because that was the only one open when they asked for a spot.

Please people, remember that it’s not ANet hyping it up this time. It’s the players. Go in with an open mind, but low expectations.

first , I seriously doubt that the only spot they could get that was available was at the main stage aka the place where most people are focusing on and everyone who is there would love to be on .
When i think ’ getting the only spot available " i imagine getting placed at a rickity little stage in the farthest corner of the backside parking lot :p

Secondly , if this is simply the announcement of S3 of living story which continues in the same fashion kitten or another feature pack ,why then is it not done via a YT video or an article as they have been doing now ?

Allow me to burst your bubble. I have played my Guardian, which uses staff, pretty much exclusively for over 2000 hours, and I have never gotten a pre drop on him. The only pre drop I have gotten was on my Ranger, almost two years ago now.

I am not saying i am gonna run staff all the time for some massive grind to get a precursor . :p

I am just curious wether there is a higher chance to get one , miniscule as t may be .

I am fully aware that you would still be at the mercy of RNGesus but due to the ability to tag entire mobs with it (especially during zerg and WVW runs) wouldn’t the chance for pre’s also increase due to the higher loot income ?

I did , and they linked me to the faq page on how it works but i already knew that .

The issue is that whenever input the code all it does is it refreshens the page and adds "code invalid " next to it .

So short story ;

I recently went away for 2 weeks vacation and for that we cut off all electricity in the house .
Now when i got home and wanted to log back in i got asked to put in my authenticator code on the client so i did and i got an error message saying it was invalid .
When i tried to log in on the site i got the same issue , so now i was getting worried and sended in a support ticket and Anet removed the authenticator from my account and after that i could log in without issue and everything ingame was still as i left it so my worst fear : Account being hacked , was unfound .

Now to my current issue :

After i had changed my password , just to be safe i wanted to ad the authenticator again but after using the app to scan the QR code on the page ,when i try to test it , it still gives me the "invalid code message .

Tl; dr : had issue with authenticator and got resolved, cannot attach new authenticator code to my account .

Sign me up with having this issue too .

If you have been paying attention recently , there are vines appearing at different waypoints across the map with some just doing nothing , other ones touching the wp as if to test it and in one case At the Tunnel WP it is completely entangled with the vine .

Also the wp vine corruption seems to spread eastward .

Where do you think they are going and more importantly will the vines have an effect on the wp or even worse ,break them ?

On my necromacer i cannot buy stuff due to the menu not appearing when talking to the master armorsmith in bl.
When i try to talk to her, the menu briefly flashes on the screen and disappears again .
Switching to another character and i encounter no problems .
Any solution?

I already tried repairing the client but the issue still persists .
