I think a few options could be used to better the use of commanders. The sub commander is a good idea but that has been discussed already.
Regarding the scout point tree, I think the ability should not be to see them on the map, but just within targeting range. Different tiers might be like:
-Tier 1: Shows enemy commander icons within sight every 20 seconds for one second.
-Tier 2: 15 seconds
-Tier 3: 10 seconds
-Tier 4: 5 seconds
-Tier 5: Constantly
That would work with the timer of WvW ticks, every X seconds of it, it would send a ping of the commanders across the map, and anyone with that trait line would see it. You’re the programmers sooo yeah :P
I think having a tab in the Y page (friends) for commanders would be useful. If I like said commander I would add him to my favorites, and when hes online, it would say where he is, and what BL (not just WvW)
Another thing you could consider would be a set of buttons that the commander could bind to his… lets say num pad. One for rally (which would have a visual display for people in his squad only), one for a squad wide target, one for stop attacking, one for build, etc… Preferably have visual queues for this (again only for his squad) since voice coms take care of the audio aspect.

Yeah, you said the same thing about Engineers’ kits and legendaries.
Now, 5 months later, we have 7 pages of comments/ideas and still no improvement…Don’t expect too much
You do realize that the engineer kits with legendaries requires brand new concepts, new animations and a ton of coding right? Seeing as you can swap kits every other second. This bug is rather minor and can be fixed a lot easier than the engineer’s problems. Give them a break, they have a ton of other stuff to work on.
I’m just saying, complaining that you get effects of a weapon you’re not using is silly. I personally love having my aura of my weapon I barely use (underwater), or else I would barely ever get the chance to see my aura.

It’s constant. And the field does not apply till someone triggers it. The rest of the trap works perfectly, it’s just that it doesn’t stay the full 60 minutes.
Personally I think it was accidentally given the timer of a mark, which is 30 seconds.
Since launch I’ve noticed this, and I’ve always told myself I’ll post it. Well here.
So let’s start with what a trap is supposed to do: “If no enemy triggers it, the trap will disappear after 60 min, or if its user moves too far away from it” (wiki)
All the ranger traps do just that, except the fire trap. It will disappear pretty fast (haven’t timed it, but IIRC it’s around 1 minute).
So yeah. It should work like the other traps in that regard. That’s pretty much it.

That is almost entirely false, I just tested this out, I still have the footprints, but not the ice block. Of course I have the custom animations on my 4 and 5 skills.

Just finished my axe today, put it on, only to realize that it prioritizes Frostfang’s footsteps over Rodgort’s… :/
I was told that these should stack, it might be a main hand thing, can’t tell due to torch only being off hand.
Also side bug, talked to Jon Peters about this, when using any attack on any main hand axe on ranger, it hides the offhand. Since the axe also disappears because it is thrown, I can’t see my legendaries during half a fight…

Path 1 was supposed to have gotten a nerf at it’s beginning, however there are 3 mobs spawning constantly every 10 seconds, and they are all veterans. This just became impossible.
And @Orissa, I was noticing the same thing for the invisible lava, rest not sure.

Every time our server does it we never fail. If you have 40+ ppl focusing the same dude (they get knocked back so you push them into a wall or pillar) he dies extremely fast. Also a quick note, Marks (necro) and traps (ranger and thief) stay up even when you turn into an animal. Note where the 2nd or 3rd one is and place them there, so when the group comes hes already decently damaged.

Well that’s my guess. Usually on events in Cursed shore you get 350 karma. With the 5% karma banner you get 378.
Now today I activated my karma booster after getting the banner, and was getting 378 on subsequent events. Pretty sure those are supposed to add up giving me 55% extra karma instead of just 5%…
I also hope that the +15% karma from guild upgrades doesn’t do something similar.
How close are you to the torch? I’ve been wanting to see someone make it to decide if it is really that one I want, but no one seemed to be going for it… :/
I find it funny how all the other god temples are rather easy with a decent size group, yet this one, the meta to it takes forever and you get there and wipe 9/10 times.
I hit the DR wall 6k into farming cursed shore. No boosters. It’s just sad because I am probably the closest one to the legendary torch, and this is gonna make it last forever…
That is because when you’re underwater, your headpiece gets replaced by your aquabreather. Put the superior rune on your aquabreather and fixed.

All legendaries require 2 crafted gifts, one common and one more specific to the weapon, requiring a gift from a dungeon or another material. You know which gifts are for which legendary by talking to the girl Miyani next to the Mystic Forge. When scrolling over the recipes she sells, it tells you which one are for which weapon.
So first off, scrolling over those recipes shows you that Dragon’s Maw (torch) does not have a second crafted gift. Therefore the torch is the only legendary that has an unknown component at the current time. Legendaries are already extremely tough to craft, why would they make a single legendary that much harder to craft then another (excluding Eternity, that one is another story)?
Second off, the current name of the Legendary is unknown. The gift recipe at Miyani tells us that the name is Dragon’s Maw, yet the exotic tells us the name is Rodgorts.
Just a /rant, but I think these issues need to reach the ears of Arena-Net. I have tried bug reports but clearly I can’t get a straight answer out of that and they have not patched it in the past 3 weeks. Figured I would do this.
P.S. Put this in crafting, yet it could also go in Bugs, but I’m not sure if it is a bug or whatever.
I know I saw this somewhere on the forums, but the search is not working for me and can’t really find it.
Medium armor used to be constantly the first set of armor on the dungeon merchant’s list. So today I get on, grab the gloves on the first set, and then realize they are light armor. And I now I have to farm the dungeon 3 more times. Great.
I’m not saying make them constantly refundable, just maybe like a 5 minute window where you can return it.
I know you are aware, but I figured a video might be of some use.
So I finished the last Vista in my borderlands, which was the green one, and all I got was the map completion. The world completion did not show up even after going to Lion’s Arch, or relogging. Not sure what to do now seeing as I’ve spent 180h+ on this character and need those Gifts of Exploration…

If you would of checked at your crafting master, he sells 375 recipes for Karma as well as other recipes, this is intended and you are not supposed to be able to discover them without buying the recipe. Try to use the wiki or gw2db.com.
