There is an option for “Player Instrument Volume” in the volume settings. I would assume this includes the backpack, but can’t test it.
And yeah, WvW or other large crowds will become very annoying that way
this is probably just so china players can get the jade skins
And Jade fits the china-theme. Making it in line with the new four winds.
My Trading Post/Gemstore also broke down today. Was working fine right after the patch, and a hour later, nothing. Just blank, no errors.
Also, Avast! is doing some DeepScreen analysing on \Temp\gw2-cache{somenumbershere}\awesomium_process.exe
Edit: Seems it’s working again after a day.

The legs and boots look different, because the material also effects the colour. So your antique gold will look different on those shiny metal rims then on the cloth flanels of your pants.
So it depends on wether it’s cloth, leather or metal. And if it’s shiny or not.
We will get this addressed in the future. Sorry you were startled by it!
Just to ask it the harsh way; How far in the future will this be? It’s already been over 9 months to add a filter to ignore a single IP-address in a list.
e.g.
if ($ip!='64.25.32.69')
The problems seems to be with how the server redirects you to the right language, and the language settings of your browser.
I have English (UK) in my accepted language list, and get redirected to the incorrect forum-en-gb.* However when I remove said British language as accepted language, it correctly redirects me to forum-en.*
For the coders: kinda sounds like they directly put the
$_SERVER[HTTP_ACCEPT_LANGUAGE] variable right into the url, rather than just the string ‘en’.
It looks so kittening happy!
And how it already starts matching the beat during the idle animation.
Skin Locked means they are locked in your wardrobe and can not apply them yet from there. You can right click the gear and choose to unlock them, or for the skins apply them.
Never had the set, but checked anyway cause it sounded weird. That item is indeed missing from both the vendor and wardrobe. Seems something went wrong with the patch.
Not that one, the other: Black Lion Trader [Armorsmith].
Couldn’t find him in the Vigil Keep, but I know he’s in Divinity’s Reach. Claim/convert is a conversation option. You can claim your basic town clothes (now potions), and come back if you still had old outfits.

Talk to the Black Lion Armour dude, near the trading post in major cities (Hoelbrak, Rata Sum, New Lions Arch, etc). Here you can claim/convert your town clothes and outfits.

And for an even more solid answer.

Hey folks, no worries. There are several routes through which you go to access the game or the forums, and I’m told the forum sometimes throws an access IP from Texas, but that’s you… or us… or you talking with us on the forums. So it’s all good.

The standard colours for medium Aetherblade are: Regal, Adobe Sunset and Peanut Butter
The song plays once an hour. On my server it starts ~5 minutes before the new hour. There are two parts that play independently and repeat every 10 minutes by “Summer” and a group of four Zephyrites. The rest of the song plays in order. I uploaded the song with the dragon lesson here: http://youtu.be/ni8ovR2LajM
There are a few problems with the audio:
1. One NPC’s vocals do not match the text bubble above her head.
2. One NPC’s audio cuts out and does not play in full.
3. I’m not 100% sure where Summer and the group of 4 go in the song. Because the rest of the NPCs sing only once an hour and in order, these independent parts should probably be the beginning/the end. After thinking this over quite a bit it seems the group of 4 could be the end continuing on for the NPC whose audio gets chopped off. Summer is also the only named NPC who sings this tune, so he seems like a good candidate to be the person to start it.
That’s just what I was looking for! I heared them singing before but don’t have video recording software. As for the group of 4, it feels like the end of the song. Kinda like how the woman tries to go all high on the last notes of And cry, “Alas, alas, alas…”
Some of the music can be found on their soundcloud profile

If you need a mesmer to get to the point, you are probably referring to the sample in the jumping puzzle, which is called Islet.
The vent sample is basically on the ground.
Check a guide if you are trying to collect the right sample (http://dulfy.net/2013/05/14/gw2-southsun-sample-collection-guide/)
