Thinking about returning, got some questions

WvW is still part of the game for those who choose to participate. Seems a decent way to earn XP and play on a larger group scale.
The rewards and experience still scale with level and zone, rewarding players for returning to old areas or participating in group activities regardless of level. Personally, it makes gameplay a great casual experience. So far as endgame goes, there is the living story which is fun enough however to be honest there’s not much else in the way of engaging endgame in my opinion.
Lastly I have created many alts and have just as much fun leveling through as my main. I don’t get the ‘grind’ type feel at all, and because the content scales you have access to the larger chunk of the content regardless of level.
Welcome back, it’s certainly worth checking out and forming your own opinion. I’ve found it an entertaining casual MMO that I seem to keep coming back to at least once a month.

Game Updates: Wardrobe, Transmutation, Outfits

While I am quite certain that much hard work went into this portion of the patch, I have to admit that the old wardrobe system provided much more flexibility than before. The tonics, lack of wardrobe mixing, and inability to dye feels like one step forward two steps back. While I’m not a fan of the changes, I am happy to see that they are offering refunds for clothing purchased in the gem store.

I’ve had a great deal of fun with it so far myself. There is the mindless zerg true, but it’s also fun to skulk through the city solo and (re)explore. Personally I’ve found it one of the more enjoyable updates, but to each their own. Certainly worth logging in to check it out however.
