I suspect that the issue is related to high map population. I’ve been disconnected several times trying to reach world bosses, but I can reach these zones at the time of this post. I’ll try to recount them precisely.

-Disconnected while trying to log into my Ranger in Lion’s Arch 2 times. Was able to log in on 3rd attempt. (time of day unknown)
-Disconnected while trying to go to Sparkfly Fen a few minutes before Tequatl world boss spawn.
-Able to connect to Sparkfly Fen when Tequatl is long dead (about 1:00 AM PDT, /ip=64.25.33.84:0)
-Disconnected while trying to go to Southsun Cove a few minutes before Karka Queen world boss spawn.
-Able to connect to Southsun Cove when Karka Queen is long dead (about 1:00 AM PDT, /ip=64.25.33.67:0)
-Disconnected while trying to go to Mount Maelstrom when Golem Mark II is supposed to spawn (about 1:00 AM PDT)
-Able to connect to Mount Maelstrom at Old Sledge Site Waypoint at 1:13 AM PDT, /ip=64.25.33.48:0. The Golem Mark II world boss was just defeated, and most players have left the zone. Screenshot attached of me checking this.

I encountered the same issue. Another player I met also told me about it.

I switched characters to do the jumping puzzle on another character. When I jumped into the broken clock face, it didn’t work, and I was zoned back to the waiting room. I encountered this problem 2-3 times before exiting the waiting room and re-entering. After re-entering, the problem was gone, and I was able to get into the clock tower to collect the loot.

Attached is a picture of me jumping into the clock face and getting zoned to the waiting room afterwards. I’m pretty sure my timing was okay.
