Dear ArenaNet and Ncsoft here are some suggestions to consider about reputation and basic Orders of Tyria.
1. Orders of Tyria its sad that we don’t have more about them a specially in “personal story” best off all is Whispers (I got all and Vigil is worst – its boring , weak written) personally I would re-make them . Add to it more quests with your p.s. partner and add new exotic/ascendant gear. How to make that simple and also not that hard? Easily add reputation. Progress would be shown like a magic find now and it would be grained by doing hearts and events in specific areas also by doing world events. More like in classic quests style for rewards you would go to base of your order and speak with your superior. That would put some live in to base. Skins would be in upper parts of reputation lvl but for those who just start progressing rewards would be like blessings – give 1h buffs , some green and blue gear , experience and titles – like “veteran lightbringer” . Rare and Exotic gear would be reputation + gold + karma.
2. Pluses of my idea.
• Put live in some areas
• Make leveling easier and more lore giving
• Lore now if u don’t listen to ppl like Wooden Potato or MattVisual (or playing GW1) you could go from 1lvl to 80lvl not knowing “WTF im doing WTF are those characters WTF is that history” with my idea you sell more history ppl get to know more about the world that YOU make .
• It’s just simple you don’t need to put hard work make more instance , dungeons or any other staff than you have right now
3. Books and libraries in game to read about the lore , priests who talking about there gods , world events with priestes or shamans , Hidden areas , hidden books , hidden events. Small easily to make details that are missing.
4. Servers like Blactide and Vabbi have hard time in WvW if would be good if u decrease gem price of switching on those servers.
5. Changeable weapon skills – Great Sword IS EVERYWHERE and I hate it. Every one use it and no one makes builds with out him . Its too powerful and to useful . GreatHammer on guardians need change as for me in place of 3th auto attack hit of GreateHammer Guardian give his Zealot’s Embrace or just on other skill because auto attacks shouldn’t been long cast just like warriors.
6. I don’t really know why but I hate colors of Orr and Orr it self. There no houses where ppls of Orr can live but there chicken coops , there are Great Temples but no where house or places where priest can sleep. Orr should be more like Executing Ground’s from Lineage 2.
7. Last of all music. You as You says “make new gen MMORPG” but giving it with sound track same like many others – classic orchestral music. When I can remember music from Lineage 2 (best sound tracks in the games ever) I only remember 1 thame from GW2 – and its sad. Music is very important in games and it makes soul of a game and GW2 fails and I ask why if NCsoft can make Lineage 2 , Tera or Aion (very bad mmo but with some good music) why Guild Wars 2 fails so much. Plz Arena Net give not only “new content” but fix mistakes that you done in a past .
8. More gear like last add heavy armor that reminds me armors from Lineage 2 and plz dont be racist next time and give girls almost same textures of armor like a male (Primeval Armor Skin)
