I sincerely hope you won’t split teams up in fear of a super team dominating the competition for a little while.For one it’s not a bad thing if one teams co sistentlh win and it fuels competition(look at rogue in Overwatch).If you want this to be a glorified academy gaming sure limit pro players from forming teams amongst themselves,but if you allow them to play without artificial handicaps and encourage pure competition.The scene will grow

This game has no prestigious end game pvp,without proleague there is no incentive to get better at this game whatsoever.You don’t need 200,000 dollar tournaments.You need frequent weekly tournaments where teams are given a platform to compete and grow.

The end of proleague will mean the end of gw2 pvp

Most of the players at the top tier of pvp has either quit the game or temporally left it until future tournaments are announced(if ever).
With no competetive outlet they’ll be nothing for people to work towards and the pvp scene will die

Yeah it’s not like it randomly came up from the ground it’s just the next meta for nec rn as opposed to the old squishy Rez Rez signet stuff
