We get it Anet, you want your casual game to be a special snowflake but downed state should not be included in any competitive form of pvp. The amount of stealth rez/stomps, dh protected stomps, set and forget engi res/stomp is just not conducive to a competitive environment. It gives classes a huge advantage over others and god forbid you get into a solo queue game without any of these classes on your team. I cannot tell you how many team fights mid we have won and no amount of cleave or stomping can get past the mass stealth options from druids to res or stomp and DH aoe bubble and protected stomps and rezzes. Especially since with how ridiculously strong dh is in solo queue that now I have seen literally 5-6 a game all way from sapph to diamond now. If you die, you die and it should be that way.
Keep it in WvW and pve that is fine. It wont make that much difference in WvW other than allowing classes like warrior to not have to run battle standard and dumb kitten like that.
It still doesn’t change the fact about how ridiculous they are still. Also I am reading the patch notes, in what aspect were they nerfed that affected the meta sPVP builds that everyone runs. I am looking it over and just dont see it. All i see are changes to pets and an axe change.
Can someone explain the reason behind nerfing ele like they did and then just leaving druid untouched. I dont mind the ele nerf but just feel that druid is in the same boat. Any druid who is halfway decent at the game should never die. between the condi removal, multiple stealth options and survivability you can just disengage with ease and just wait it out because your cds are on such a low cooldown. The amount of stealths on such a low cd, astral, and the crazy cc and healing is absolutely stupid. Yet they still have very high damage. I just cannot wrap my head around how they can nerf ele and not even touch druid.
