All I hear is “Wah”
….
There’s no sugar coating this one; Suck it up butter-cup.
I don’t like the representation of traits I have within media and otherwise too. But that’s just how things are. Learn to live with it or just don’t partake in things that include it (when possible).
“Are you joke?” Shall now be my new response to many situations that I am not taking seriously.
Thank you for that, made my, rather boring, day.
You’ve been playing, or at least posting, for a very long time and not only are you leveling MULTIPLE of the same race (and the race with one of the worst storylines in the game I might add) they’re all under level 10? That alone confuses me but it’s mostly irrelevant…
Getting past the first zone doesn’t take more than an hour or so. Your only complaint is because people are doing events. Why does that matter? I’m actually, genuinely, confused. They do them before you can get there is the only complaint I can see. That’s not exactly a reasonable..well..reasoning… If anything you should be happy. With people doing events that means you actually can do them too. Just when someone calls them out, get there as soon as they do. Then yay you win. Or just do what they do and keep the timers open so you’ll know when they’re going to pop. I’m sorry that you’re too slow for an event but I can’t really side with you on this.
Now keep in mind, I don’t disagree entirely. I’d like to see more people in Orr (back in october there was always a big wave of people. Ran through the area on my new level 80 just tonight and I saw 4 people total) or similar locations so I can actually get stuff done. Having near every possible way point that has the ability to be contested, be contested 24/7, is really annoying.
But you’re being silly at best.
That was my first thought the only time I did it on accident…
However now I just take the less than 1 second to make sure the prompt says “Open”.
So I vote either way; doesn’t seem like something that should be hard to implement but on the other hand relaxing and taking that brief amount of time to confirm you’re opening the chest shouldn’t be much to ask of the player either…
Tough call.
I don’t know….I’ve never seen what you’re talking about being used and I’ve never used it myself. I’ve actually only ever seen other rangers that were more or less fodder. I might just be matched with/against poor rangers but it just seems like they don’t accomplish much…
However I will say that I do my best with the ranger, but with a completely different set up that can usually drop people within 8-20 seconds best case scenario. Worst case scenario we have a bit of a scuffle that lasts a while. However 1v1 I’m happy to say I have never lost. Except for that one thief…stupid thief…oh and guardians. Just because they take too long and more people show up.
ANYWAY What i’m getting at here is I really don’t know. Nerfed? Yeah maybe. It wouldn’t be surprising based on the general feeling towards rangers the game gives off already. Of course it’s slightly confusing as I assumed the point of the spvp was taking a completely balanced playing field (based on available skills, weapon stats etc) and making a build that will let you do very well compared to other people while they try and do the same thing.
A game can never be truly balanced but…that’s a whole different discussion I’ll avoid as I kind of already rambled about more nonsense than I wanted to.
Sooo…
What now?
I’m sitting on 120+ hours worth of the support token/buttons. Do I just delete them or..what’s the deal here?
I’m just curious if I missed an alternate use for them at some point or not.
P.S. Who won is irrelevant to this thread, keep it to one of the other 10 threads that are appearing every minute.
So.
I filled out my characters a long time ago, near launch actually but only ever got my first character, an ele, to 80. Having started playing again I just got my ranger to 80.
Both of these classes, no real problems.
The ele I did die a bit but that was mostly because I was being silly and didn’t understand the guild wars 2 mechanics yet. The ranger, I rarely died and managed to take on large groups in one try that my friend playing a warrior couldn’t manage.
However, this guardian, this bloody guardian, I just can’t figure it out. I’m only level 15 on it, and I just die. All the time.
Regardless of what weapons I run it just isn’t working out for me. I just need to understand what I’m missing here. It’s mostly just embarrassing by this point.

Boo. Okey Dokey thanks.
I’ll see what I can manage.
Now, I understand it’s 5 halloween achievements which, being 7 available, should mean reaching the goal isn’t difficult. Being pre-occupied most of october I came on to see what I could wrap up before it ended. The clocktower was the first thing I completed but it appears that upon completion, the achievement didn’t actually count towards emissary.
I’m hoping that this is a bug and not on purpose. As much fun as I had on the clocktower, I don’t think just some level 80 slippers were actually worth it…Mainly because I don’t have enough time available to grind the pumpkin carver/trick or treat bag achievements out. >>
