Guild Wars 2

Hi guys.

I’m looking to join a casual, friendly, no pressure guild on Vabbi server. I am a very casual player, sometimes hopping off for weeks or months at a time, and just want some friendly faces to chat to while I do my thing.

I’m still learning about the game in some aspects, so anyone who doesn’t mind answering stupid questions would be great as well!

For some reason after I re-enabled my firewall, it suddenly worked. Yay for randomness!

Hi guys.

I haven’t played in a while,. at least 6 months. I am having a problem patching – when I first opened the launcher, it worked fine and got to at least 99% of the download. Then it said, “Connection Error(s) Detected. Retrying…”

There was no problem with my internet at this point, everything else was fine. So I rebooted my pc and tried again… this time it starts downloading at about 2.5 kbps, which drops rapidly to 0 over about 10 seconds. Then it said again, “Connection Error(s) Detected. Retrying…” It’s now done this about 5 times in 20 mins.

For some reason it says that there is only 1 File Remaining to download. I find this quite unusual… xD I’ve checked my firewall, the game is allowed. Is that file corrupt, perhaps? I really don’t want to have to reinstall the entire thing…

Edit: The download size flits from 6KB, to 8KB, to 14 KB.

Edit 2: Turned firewall off. Same problem. I am running as administrator.

I’ve also tried the tips in the stickies, changing 3d options to application settings, and clearing the game’s cache, but to no avail.

Hi guys ! I’m having an issue with the gem store – whenever I open the gem store tab of the BMAH, my entire screen will go completely black – i’ll still be able to hear the game so I assume it’s just the visuals that go, but I have to ctrl-alt-delete and force close the game to get back to normal.

This has been happening for a while, since before the patch, i’ve just come back to playing after a while away and thought i’d quite like to treat myself to some gems! xD The other tabs and everything else as far as I can tell is perfectly okay. This only started happening in the past few months – when I joined about a year ago it was no problem. Is there anything i can do to resolve this?

Bump because i’m having this issue as well. I’ve tried repairing the game, updating graphics drivers and windows and running on administrator, but no avail. I haven’t played in a few months and downloaded all the updates to the game yesterday. Didn’t have this issue before Any help would be awesome, and fingers crossed you guys find a solution as well

Same, got disconnected while trying to enter my personal story and cant get back in now
