Yes because those +(x) pips for your current skirmish place don’t encourage winning skirmishes? /s You’re basically saying the system is broken because an incredibly small minority of people abuse it. However most “active” encouragement systems, as you call it, would result in far more people abusing it as a ktrain. The current system is fine. May need some tuning (as people have suggested with outnumbered – only gain if you’ve been on the map for 2.5 minutes or more) but nothing major.

And yet another example for people mostly posting here to troll rather than engaging in constructive debates!

First off, its not a minority abusing the outnumbered pips and i don’t blame them because the current pip system encourages abusing it rather than promoting actually playing the game mode.

Secondly, the current system only rewards single skirmishes and it really makes almost no difference if you come in first, second or last place! The overall match up doesn’t reward anything at the moment! This needs to change!

What this game needs in all game modes is a reward system that encourages participating and engaging in content and stepping away from the “all who show up receive a medal” mentality!

Just remove the outnumbered pips to get rid of the kitten afk farmers and put a pip system into play that actually rewards active play and incentivizes to win a match up rather than promote sitting around doing nothing…

@zealex the proposed change to t3 has nothing to do with adding shiny effects (btw prefer the t3 effect and skin to the current legendary already), its all about the stat change option. Especially in WvW with meta changing quickly, trying out new builds and adapting is key. And people complaining about not having to grind the legendary insights, check out the full cost and time you spend til you can afford the full t3 set…

Ergo: We want stat change option on the t3 set, i honestly dont care how they implement it but saying “hey you can just go to the mystic toilet and change the stats there” is not a solution but an insult!

Adding a QoL request after my latest adventure with the mystic forge:

  • Being able to change numbers in given promotion recipes in the mystic forge
    i don’t know if arenanet somehow has a contract with hospitals earning a percentage on carpal tunnel syndrome cases, but promoting e.g. 500 destroyer cores most definitely is an unhealthy venture.

  • Build templates (like the ones in Guild Wars)
  • Open the UI for real customization (again like in Guild Wars e.g. mini map size etc.)
  • Decrease/remove the timer after finished pvp matches added with this patch
  • More keybindings (e.g. map ping etc.)
  • Adjust the stack size of materials in inventory according to the storage stack size (e.g. with storage extentension to 500 your inventory stack size should be 500 as well)
  • Finally implement storage space for all crafting materials (e.g. Amalgamated Gemstones, Doubloons, Agony Infusions etc.)
  • Bags prioritizing consumables and bags prioritizing ascended gear (e.g. nourishment and blueprints will fill this bag before other empty spaces / ascended weapons, armor, accessories)
  • Add crafting options (like chosing the number of items you’d like to craft) to the mystic forge (e.g. if you want to promote material you don’t need to select it again and again after promoting one)
