This topic makes me lol. “You need the best team to beat FotM” no. No you don’t.

I’ve been in FotM once because i’m only level 36, only two of the PUGs I joined up with were in their 80’s so naturally us lowbies suffer from bad equipment and not all the skills/traits an 80 has. We ran into no problems during the dungeon at all. The only issue we had was with the Swamp fractal but once we realized what we needed to do that was easy too.

This dungeon isnt a failure, your tactics are.

Where’s the Personal Story in WvW? Unless you talk to yourself, as I suspect alot of pvpers do….vent and all that…..

The swamp is my least favourite fractal… seconded by that weird underwater fractal with the dolphin bit

It’d be nice if dungeons had a ‘solo’ mode (perhaps not the fractals as they seem to be built for parties). It’d just be nice to experience the dungeons even if you cant get your hands on a party.

Obviously the rewards in solo mode wouldn’t be as good as the group mode dungeons.

As the title suggests, I’d always assumed your personal story was designed to be solo’d (hence ‘personal story’) However I believe I’ve read its possible to bring players in with you, and despite my thief character meeting the required level for his story missions (or exceeding it sometimes) he still struggles when the story throws a veteran or harder boss monster at him.

I do love the story system in this game and the fact that its expanded on purely by how you choose to progress, but its going to be impossible for me to complete it (atleast on my thief) if I can’t do it without finding someone to help me.

I’m trying to imagine how small your screen is as I don’t notice it at all =/

I cant see ‘World Events’ being that common, but unfortunately for yourself I don’t think they’re going to change how they show the information.

Its a world event. It’ll be on your screen for another 2 days. Consider that a fix.

Sadly the only part of this event I could take part in is the new dungeon. I was on at the events launch and then the game proceeded to kick me out. I managed to get back in before being kicked out a further two times, at this point I could not get back in until after the initial event. I’ve tried to attend the ‘mini’ invasions in the other zones, but none of the Karka rendered for me, so I couldn’t participate there either. So far a disappointment
