Fortunately, all the Medium cultural armor for Norn is outstanding. T1, T2 and T3.

Do you really even need all that much “confidence” in it rebounding though? When it comes to trade goods, it seems to me they follow a pretty usual cycle in a 24h period. With the highest prices coming at prime time and the lowest coming in the early morning.

All of the Norn Cultural armor is good for Rangers. Honestly, Norn have BY FAR the best looking cultural gear. Puts every other race (and ALL the mediocre dungeon / karma sets) to shame.

I’m pretty sure it just means you can’t transmute the armor while you’re wearing it. You’ll need to unequip it, transmute, and then re-equip.

In my opinion, the only really good looking Medium armor is the Norn cultural stuff. Fortunately, my Ranger is a Norn.

OH! The Duelist PvE set is good too.

Was just doing Twilight Arbor story mode. Of the 5 of us, only two could see the cutscenes… and the three of us that didn’t were all randomly getting “Kill Zhaitan!” messages popping up on our screen. See attached pic…

I can find sites with images for all Cultural, PvP and Dungeon armor no problem… but the Crafted Exotics are eluding me. And since Preview doesn’t work on the TP, I’m kind of in a bind.

Anyone know of a site with an image compilation for Crafted Exotics? Medium, specifically.

The most annoying thing about Sylvari having no surnames is that makes it MUCH harder to find a good name. Like… my Norn’s first name is Astrid, which would surely be taken, except that since Norns have surnames, she becomes Astrid Svandottir, which isn’t.

Seriously though, it wouldn’t be so bad if the NPCs had a choice of 5 or whatever things they could say… but a lot of them repeat the same ONE line of dialog over and over again. It’s bad.

Tried out Norn T2 Medium the other day with the Norn T1 Medium pants… and this happened!

On another note… is there any way that the character selection screen could reflect item graphics that have been disabled? For example, if the helm is hidden for that character in-game, could it be hidden on the character selection screen as well?

I’ve got a good one, although it is unrelated to any sort of armor or weapons, it’s definitely an Art defect. For Norn females, one of the hairstyles (the one used by Eir) includes a headband that can be color-customized. However, there is a section of the headband that remains the same color no matter what you change the rest of the headband to. See below screenshot:

It’s actually kind of funny… back when WoW first implemented the ability to preview the appearence of items and weapons, their system didn’t work in the Auction House either… arguably one of the most important places for it to work! In any case, it’s the same in GW2 I’m afraid… the ability to preview weapon and armor appearence doesn’t work in the Trading Post. Is there any chance this could be added, ANet?
