I was wondering if you could help me choose a new profession to use my level 80 boost on for POF.

I currently have a level 80 Necro, level 80 Thief, level 74 ranger and a level 40 Guardian.

I like visatiliy and having enough skills for any situation but not so many that I have to preplan every move. I like doing some ranged damage then swap to something a little more painful when my enemy gets to close, if there not already dead. I also perfer to stand my ground and only move if I really have to. I also what to focus more on the fight then what button comes next in the rotation and the other skills either help lay on more pain or protect me/ give a upperhand and no skill is useless its more situlation.

Hi all,

I have been off for about 6 months and looking to return as a more casual player (dividing time between GW2 and Overwatch).

I am looking for a profession that good at getting around, does not have to many skills for attacking but I will use regularly and is fairly forgiving. I currently have a Necro (Reaper) and a Thief (Daredevil). I like close to midrange fighting and want to do more then just the AA things to death (i find it very boring).

So can you help me?

I have recently got Reaper (66% unlocked) and I am looking for a good build for soloing the open world (including HoT maps). I love Greatsword so I want to keep that. Second weapon set I have is a swap between Staff and D/WH. I am currently running basic Zerker Gear (a mix of Masterwork and Rare) and I don’t have alot of gold to swap it out at the moment.

If anybody can help, I would be grateful.

My question is: is my GW2 account grant me access to the rest of NCsoft games or are they all separate , I have an email about NCsoft account Migration from Lineage 2 and I am not sure if it will Affect my GW2 account.

Its a shame the Anet does not tell you how much you need to download from the patcher

so like how much from the original disk will need replacing to be inline with the current patch? I need figures.

I have installed the game from CD (about 13.5 GB) how many GB do I need to download to be up to date with the current patch?

I am trying to decide which is of these to level, I already have an engi and thief and I want a good pve/pvp/wvwvw toon to go with, I like playing all ranges and I prefer having options open. Also, I want to cripple then nuke my enemy or at least build up to heavy burst. Also I want to be able to quickly shift from range to melee and vice versa when I need to. Lastly, I want to be able to strike first from a distance, then if needs be coming in for the killing blow.

I have been an on/off player that’s not played for several months (due to playing SWTOR, and TF2), and I am looking for a class that plays ranged/melee with melee doing the most damage, but ranged doing a respectable amount, so what professtion would you suggest at the moment (preferably close ish to the SWTOR Vanguard/powertech) and for though who don’t know, its a ranged tank that can do decent ranged damage but excels in melee and is quite servivable and has plenty of options.
In short I what to be able to hit at all ranges (with out a charge) but getting close is the last thing you want to do!
Any suggestions?

I have a level 31 thief and I was wondering what the best weapons and spec to level was at the moment, I am currently using s/d and sb with a variety of different runes on it and 1 point in Critical strikes. What do I need to improve? Note this is purely PVE with some dungeon now and then.

Game mode I want to expeance it all and i want to play semi serious so casual but can up my game when needs be, and btw I hate granades

Its been a few months since i last played and I was wondering what profession and build to play, I was thinking some sort of hard hitting mobile artillery style maybe the a DOT ability (sort of like SWTOR mercancy/commando Pyrotech/assault spec). If there is anything close, then please tell me as I want to come back.

I have a thief main which I love, but I want an alt that is sort of similar but is a bit more tanky and is good for group pvX and has multiple viable builds.
Would would you suggest?

Which weapon combo is the current best in PVE and Dungeons to complement D/D primary build? wvw and pvp is something i will do when I feel like I can control may class more.

A D/D thief drops a kitten ton pile of bleed stacks, that would be my choice.

I have been playing with most classes for a while and I have no idea which to make my main, it’s either going to be ranger, thief or Mesmer (unless you can suggest better). What I want to do is:
1. Deal heavy burst with ok constant damage.
2. Have decent survablty.
3. Have mobility (i.e. skills that help with getting around and not just dodging).
4. Be effective at both mid/long and melee (or have a good distance closer).
5. Be able to handle a surprise attack with ease (both single and aoe).
6. Be useful in a group.
7. Allow me time to pick battles.
8. Look cool while doing the above.
As long as your recommendation fits with most of these I would be grateful.
