I heard crafting was the fastest way to lvl from 1-80 is this still true? if so how much can i expect for it to cost

If anyone is nice enough to post a detailed d/d build that gives good defense but considerable damage output for spvp I would be eternally grateful<3

I just made a mesmer to try out in spvp i really like the staff abilities and such are there any good builds that have good dmg and survivability that use staff and the primary weapon? If so linking your build would be grand instead of posting ex: 0/0/20/20 because that confuses me.

Which major traits would I be picking in each of them?

So as the title states I’m new to gw2 and so far I really enjoy spvp but with my lack of knowledge I fail to understand good traits from the bad ones. I really enjoy the dagger dagger weapon set up so if somebody could create a tanky but has good dmg build with those weapons I would greatly appreciate it

So i recently got the game and as im waiting for my new graphics card to come in im Lf a build i will mostly be doing spvp and some wpvp i was a spec that does decent dmg but wont die easily if thats not possible ill settle for a dmg/cc build ty for the help in advance.
