Update: I spent 2 hours yesterday to figure out why my key was locked and why I got suspended. It turns out that my sister got a refund although she never asked for one.
The transaction was successful. Money were taken from her account, key was valid and everything was alright until 2 days later when they gave her the money back and a mail with a vague explanation.

I still have no idea what is happening but she wrote a ticket and we are now waiting for a reply.

My code was alright until a few days ago. I got my account downgraded and suspended.
And yes, it was from the official website.

As I can see, I’m not the only one having this problem.
My account got suspended and I sent a ticket but got no reply.

Now here is my situation: I got the expansion pack from my sister as a birthday gift. She couldn’t be there for me so she bought the game from The Netherlands and gifted it to me. I activated it a week ago from Romania and there was no problem with it. I even got the “Thank you for your purchase” mail. But now I’m suspended and the expansion pack was unlinked from my account.
Is it possible that they made a confusion and thought I stole the code because of the 2 different locations/E-mails/and other infos?

Also she bought it from the official website.

Since Romania and the Netherlands are both members of the EU, it should not matter. At least law wise in terms of EULA. Your sister has “gifted” you the license. It is perfectly legal. So I guess there must have been some confusion or you are victim of a strict anti-scam system operating with a sledgehammer.

Hmm yeah.. you are right. Then I have no idea what this was all about… hope it’s a mistake…

If haven’t already done so. Submit a ticket, explain the situation and hope this issue can resolved as fast as possible. The Maguma Jungle awaits you!

I already submitted a ticket on Friday asking what the problem was and for how long I was suspended. But I got no reply. First I thought it was because of my strange activity log… Since I changed more locations lately… but then I saw that Heart of Thorns was deactivated, so there must be a problem with that, right?

Keep in mind due to many people experiencing the same issue and the launch of the expansion which brings subsequently many bugs, A-Net does have much resources to answer quickly. It took them 12 hours in my case to answer to one of my e-mails.

Okay, time to sit back and refresh my inbox every 10min! Haha!
If this doesn’t get sorted out, I guess my sister can ask for a refund anytime…

What is your opinion on the the upcoming closed beta testing events? Will they be the same as the first one? Or will we get more content?
I got the portal and I’m not sure what to expect…
