Rahkyrr/Necromancer and Perdgon/Guardian
“Oh Skritt, I’m hit!”
They raised the transfer rate in gems after league. The gold to gem conversion is also worse than before league. You will have to farm for the difference. I will be surprised if they ever open it up. Besides you will be facing high queue times on the high ranking servers. Have you guested on Black Gate to talk to people in Lion’s Arch to see what the queues are like?
They have made changes to help colorbind players:
- Enemy AoE circles were visually changed to look different from friendly circles (so that being red instead of white wasn’t the only difference).
- WvW and sPvP team colors were changed to be higher contrast for colorblind players (which made them an eyesore for those of us who aren’t colorblind).
An option to make AoE fields more obvious is a good idea, but if they would tone down animations and particle effects like they’ve been saying they would, it would probably make it easier (for everyone, but especially colorblind people) to spot the circles among the distractions.
I also noticed this change and hoped it was for the colorblind option. My spouse is color blind. The GW2 limitations reminded me of Halo. I always had to run point because the door lights were red/green (and only I could tell). Bumping again for the AoE circles

I like this idea for when I am not with my guild wvw runs (pug). Although most of us can usually tell within 10 minutes if the commander is a veteran commander or not. I would like to have a “commander icon block list” to ensure I don’t see their blue taco on a future login. ever. again.
+1 – Indeed. I feel like Sigourney Weaver’s character Gwen DeMarco in Galaxy Quest:
[Gwen and Jason encounter the chompers]
Gwen DeMarco: What is this thing? I mean, it serves no useful purpose for there to be a bunch of chompy, crushy things in the middle of a hallway. No, I mean we shouldn’t have to do this, it makes no logical sense, why is it here?
Jason Nesmith: ‘Cause it’s on the television show.
Gwen DeMarco: Well forget it! I’m not doing it! This episode was badly written!
Gwen DeMarco: Whoever wrote this episode should DIE.
Whomever wrote the code for the TP should have to spend hours trying to sell their loot manually…
