Less health more damage would work or make the final impact AoE/splash or even a small knockback as it does kinda break up the ground around its target.

Personally I’d find this skill more useful with a daze rather than a cripple. It would feel useful against break bar, and would provide a safer dodge against mobs with an AoE interrupt.
(And with impacting disruption it would be so satisfying)

I like this idea, it would make staff synergise with its own trait much better. I dont feel adding a cripple does anything for me unless im trying to gtfo and I have enough access to dodges and vault to do that.

Im pretty sure it removes immobilize and applies cripple, not remove both. I could swear on occasions I have had cripple and its not removed it.

It’s not just you. I always get put in dead maps, too. I have yet to even see how Dragon Stand works because every map I load into is empty.

x100 this, and if your empty map does get going it never has enough time left to get the event done.

My norn engineer, contemplating getting the scarlets shoulders/gloves but the gem store wont let me preview them with my current armour/dyes to see what its like :/

I tried thief but found in dungeons and I was basically spamming blind after blind just to stay up (perhaps I just need practice or things have changed slightly now?) and REALLY dislike the shortbow and that seemed kind of required for everything? Im willing to give it another go if things have changed and player perception is better.

Hadnt thought of necromancer so I will probably give that a quick playthrough see if I like it.

Tried mesmer and found it well its hard to put my finger on it the whole mechanic of clones and shattering them seemed cool but something just seems off about it and didnt quite click with me, its a shame because I really liked the concept of the class.

So I started back at launch and quickly dropped the game due to other commitments, since then things have got back to a level where I can really get stuck into the game but im having a bit of a dilemma.

I cant seem to find or stick with a class that I really like, I typically play the rogue class in other games but ventured into everything this time to see if I would enjoy it.

I got an engineer to 54 but am becoming increasingly frustrated by buggy abilities, lackluster damage and the fact that even though im playing engineer I never really EVER feel like one with all the armour models, everything seems geared towards thiefs in terms of aesthetics. So im willing to put him on the side for now if I can find something else that I can really enjoy, but cant seem to stick with a class after I have all the weapon skills I just get bored.

I typically enjoying being the guy that brings the pain not always with big numbers but they do look nice! But also has the odd tool to help me out in a sticky situation, im not asking to be OP just not wanting to get squished as soon as anything looks at me.

Would also like to venture and be productive in all aspects of the game but if I was to rate importance it would have to be PvE, WvW and then PvP.

If it helps I played a Samurai, Monk, Warrior and Archer in FFXI and a Rogue in WoW and RIFT.
