Looking for a Guild that has a Luxon themed name / profile picture that functions in PvP and WvW don’t really care about PvE.
Preferably the Guild is in the Jade Quarry Server and runs its own Guild Missions.
Guild Team Speak is a plus!
Mail me in game! Triston.7639 or message me on the thread! Thanks!
I’m a very active player that uses Team Speak and has a Commander Tag to help with guild missions, looking for a Luxon themed Guild that’s preferably in Jade Quarry Server transfering soon!
I love Canthan and the Luxons from GW1 so a Luxon themed name / guild pic would be great that does Guild Missions and all that good stuff!
I’m a PvX Player, R65 PvP, love teaching all dungeons and I do WvW with guild mates! I’m pretty talkative in guild to!
Message me on forums or mail me in game! The Ghost Eater is my main / only toon!
Thanks!

So this Sunday Tomorrow @ 4:30pm PST I can Guest to FA Server whisper you and join up with your Guild and get 6 Guild Commendations?
Is there any news on this? Or was this all just made up by Arena Net because they realized that they will loose a lot of money if they did this?
But I remembered in GW 1 Arena Net did a Tormented Weapon Scavenger Hunt when GW2 was about to come out. Wasn’t easy at all, at least for me.
So if anyone knows let me know so I can wait to make Sunrise or sell my Soul for Gems.
So I’m trying to beat Sub. 7 for the Blobs Schmobs Achievement, and my rifle Warrior keeps killing the Mini Oozes since rifle hits whatever’s in between you and your target.
So, can I make a Lvl 20 Mesmer ( Experience Scroll ) and give it some SP scrolls and some noob armor and will he be all set for the fight? Also does the Great sword Mesmer auto attack skill hit things in between you and your target or just the target?
Title says it all, here’s a video on the guide.
Video of a PvP Guardian in Ranked, was a great video!
I think it’s stupid that you have to go out in PvE and get them! I’m a WvW / PvP player and I dislike PvE much.
Buying something unlocks it o your wardrobe permentaly as long as the characterless the gear requirements. And your answer to your Mad king Set is yea.
The Strength in Numbers trait grants 150 Toughness in Combat that affects you and your allies for a certain amount of time etc. . . Does this only activate when you have allies? Or does it also work if I’m solo roaming WvW ( Example ) picking off people in combat?
(edited by Triston.7639)
All I can say is the only reason why I’ve even been on GW2 since day one was the reason of me waiting for Cantha Fractions Luxons Kurzicks to come into GW2 if there not in GW2 than I’m done with this game.
Hey guys I need to fill up my character slots at the moment I have one 80 Guardian and one 80 Warrior what do you suggest I should make before Arena Net ruins the trait tree?
I want something that rocks PvP PvE and WvW so far Guardians and Warriors haven’t let me down yet! Please give me suggestions and if possible your reason why that class is good.
Thanks!
Hi guys I am in Sorrows Furnace Server but I want to switch out to Crystal Desert or another Server! But tomorrow is the Spring Tournament start date so if I switched to a different server would I not be able to participate in the tournament?
Example: SF 6-8 hours later (I’m about to sleep soon so ill be doing transfer on tournament day 1) > transfer > CD GoM etc… Couple hours later Tournament starts= Me participating or no?
You say you’re in a WvW guild. Go ask them. Different guilds have different methods for commanding.
1+2. Get your own siege – they’re not expensive. You should have hundreds, if not thousands of badges by now. convert to siege, convert to superior siege. Only the commander throws siege because you have to manage your zerg’s supply. If you can’t manage your supply, just tag down and let someone else command and observe until you can.
3. Don’t apologise. You have to be a leader. Leaders don’t apologise. They acknowledge mistakes and fix them.
4. Guild buff related. If you’re not a guild officer, well, talk to your guild.
5. It’s supposed to be hard. You can’t seriously be expecting to pvdoor keeps down can you? No tips here. Your only teacher is experience.
6. Get in voice comms with them. Don’t be a kitten and command without server voice comms
7. Experience and time will fix this.
Awesome thanks for writing! I was planning on using my BoH but with the Spring Tournemt coming soon wasn’t to sure if I shud do that because maybe merchants or whatever!
1. Carry your own siege. This discourages your zerg from placing more blueprints than you have supply for and shows that you really are in charge. Commanding is expensive, don’t expect to make money doing it, but a successful commander can also draw in siege donations to offset the cost.
2. Superior everything, and I mean everything. Guild catapults if you can afford them. If you don’t want to throw down omegas all the time that’s fine, but sometime it can make a difference if you’re in a fix. Normal prints are fine too as a budget option for less hectic scenarios.
3. Be ready to acknowledge your mistakes, but don’t apologize too much. Your zerg expects you to be in charge. It’s up to your community to make a welcoming environment for new commanders, and if they don’t, try to get that conversation started.
4. The most important reason to claim is for +5 supply, combat bonuses are nice too. Keep in mind that if the capture isn’t “credited” to your guild, you won’t have the option to claim for a few minutes.
5. It depends on the keep. There is always a way in, there is always a way to counter defensive siege, but it comes down to knowledge, experience, and preparation. Know how keeps are typically defended, know when to persist and when to give up. Sometimes just by prolonging a siege you can drain supply, but that defensive advantage makes it very hard if your forces are otherwise matched.
6. Sometimes it is, I think it depends where you play and what kind of opposition you have. In this case make sure you are always communicating, then you can help each other out either directly or indirectly.
7. As long as you don’t get emotional or upset you won’t drive people away. Do what you can with the group that you have, and more will start to follow. Most people understand that more can be accomplished in a group than can be accomplished alone. If you’re clear about the fact that you’re looking for more experience and will listen, there should be people among your zerg who are willing to help you out with the learning process.
Thank you for writing all that out! I’m seeing a trend of things I need to work on thanks again
1. Ask for siege donations. I would guess that golems, rams, and catas will be needed most of the time.
2. Every kind. But rams, catas, and acs are priority.
3. Ignore disrespectful people. Tag down if it’s your whole server raging. Explain what you’re doing before doing it and they will have no excuse if they didn’t follow instructions.
4. Guilds have buffs you can train in Art of War that can add a variety of useful buffs. A common one is +5 supply to camps.
5. Remove as much enemy siege as you can. Starve them of supply to repair.
6. If most of you are in voice comms it is, otherwise people will become easily confused.
7. Same as #3.Lastly, I would suggest that you don’t constantly throw undergeared, upleveled, teammates at higher numbered opposition repeatedly. If you notice the same people dying all the time inquire about their gear/ spec. Have your guild mates lead by example.
Awesome thanks for writing all that out an for the advice I will definitely get to work now!
Let me see if I can give a light to your issues…
1 – Yeah, that’s bad… Almost everyone expect that the commander drop the siege for them, because of the usual “Don’t drop siege for the commander” police… Of course, if you take too long to make your move, someone might drop a siege at random and complain you’re doing nothing. So fill your bags with the blueprints, and try to plan where you gonna drop them beforehand.
2 – Always carry all kind of siege… Golems can be left aside tho, they are more for specific ocasions, not for general ones… But always have Arrow Carts, Ballistas, Trebuchets, Catapults and Flame Rams. Principally the last ones. Some superiors also come handy.
3 – Being a commander require having a really thick skin, because one can’t simply calm a angry zergling… If you make your intentions clear, and saying why you are doing that, you’re likely to keep the zerglings quiet. Of course people will likely get upset if you get them wiped over and over and there is no god that gonna help you with that.
4 – When a guild claim a objective, all the active WvW buffs will affect players within the zone of the objective… The most popular one is the +5 supply carry buff, which people give to camps, but there are many others that you can check on your guild upgrade list unter the Art of War tab.
5 – Some keeps are easier to attack than others. A sieged keep can be even more dangerous than a upgraded non-sieged keep… You might want to scout around your objective (to check for any siege you can spot) before going for it, and find a way to go around the defenses (if possible). A unprepared attack toward a T3 keep is likely to fail if there are defenders around.
6 – Coordinated efforts are always a great play… Rolling a 100man zergball is counter-productive if you enemy is playing Divide-and-Conquer (thus, being able to cover more ground than you).
7 – Unless you can get someone already known in your server to tell people to give you a chance, the only way to prove your worth to the others is going out there and make stuff happening… Try don’t argue with the trolls that will say you’re bad, because they problably don’t even have balls to take up the commanding role and will give excuses like “gimme 100g and I’ll do it” just to be able to get away without getting on the responsability.
Wow thanks for writing all this out it was a huge help and I will defineatly get to work on all this stuff thank you
Place your own siege or have people that have explicit instructions to place siege for the run. Inform the rest not to place siege. Having random siege placed will drain your zerg of supply.
Ask the group to donate siege to you by mail if they want to contribute.
Thank you sir / ma’m for the input that’s great advice
Hi guys I’m a new WvW Commander ( just bought it today ) and I’ve been in WvW for months beforehand so I know how this all works. And actually running a Zerg is tougher than I thought.
I plan on running my Guild ( CoSA ) in the upcoming Spring Tournament which is I think 4 days away? Point is I need to make sure I have some stuff 100% down before I start so give me a hand will you?
1. Is it alright to ask my Zerg if anyone else can drop Siege? Ex. Flame Rams because I run out here and there and I don’t know if that’s ok to ask. ( Zerg = Guild + Random people )
2. What’s the best Siege to carry? I run with Arrow Carts, Catapults, Flame Rams, and Trebuchets. That’s the essentials right?
3. How do you calm angry Zerglings? I be respectful and apologize for a mistake but if you mess up once some people just explode on you and it’s really moral dropping to be a Commander. know I’m new at Commanding but I try my hardest 100% 24/7 but one mistake will bring upon SF’s wrath on me :/ my mistakes are never intentional and are never ment to wreck someone else I’m just learning you know?
4. What does Claiming things do? I hear a lot of different things so I thought I’d just ask.
5. I don’t know about you but attacking keeps is one hard job to do! I mean no one defending it isn’t to bad but Jesus once a Zerg comes and defends it you are out of the game! Any advice?
6. So I have had small exposure to “Dual Commanding” where one Commander is on one side and the other ( me ) is in the opposite side is this a smart strategy of pushing for map domination?
7. Rally problems: So I pop my Tag and no other Commander is on and people come to me but I’ve had a problem once or twice where a person who cussed me out for my mistakes would alert the Zerg that I’m a bad Commander and new. People like me but it takes one person to say something and half my Zerg leaves me :| I know I’m in a high Rep WvW Guild but people just need to let me show them what I can do! Any advice?
Thanks guys for reading all this! I just needed some feedback on new Commanding! Zerging and being the Leader are very different roles! I’m sure ill get the hang of it but I have these present problems! My guild is expecting big things from me from this Tournament and I don’t plan on disappointing.
First, there is a WvW forum.
I think it’s great you’re asking and want to learn, but since you don’t know the answer to a few basic things, I suggest you don’t command until you sort things out.
Perhaps try commanding with no tag on and just running with your guild at first, while learning things from the forums.
Sorry I didn’t even see that there was a WvW haha but thanks for your feed back that probably would be a good idea! Just my guild is expecting big things in this Tournament from me and I need to not disappoint you feel?
I say bring in Guild Wars 1 Classes!

I have 2 things
1. I put a skin on my ascended armor and I don’t like it anymore how do I remove it?
2. I put a skin on my helmet and I put a skin over that skin so if I use a transmutation stone do I get the first skin?

I ran in WvW Zerker Guardian and I didn’t do to bad why do people not like Zerkers in WvW?

Made a video on my Guardian in WvW hopefully it will convince people that Zerker in WvW is fine.
Here is a good video I made on a Zerker Guard.
I made a very good PvE Zerker Build check it out.
Here is the video I made of my Zerker Guardian it’s a really good build.
It’s not a question I accidentally hit Q&A and posted it before I repaired it was Q&A
I made a video of a baby Quaggan vs. Malchors Leap.
I made a video showing how to match your armor to Sunrise color wise.
I have every single thing to make Sunrise except Dawn! I had 5 Dawn’s that I bought for only 2g each which I than Salvaged (Before I even decided to make Sunrise) now Dawn costs 622g! I don’t think I can Grind anymore . . . Anyone have some suggestion or anything they can do for me? I want my Sunrise so bad
Map Completion in PvE: Rewards give you Black Lion Chest Keys, x40 Tier 1-6 Mats, Rares and Exotics ( I made 24g Selling the Exotics I got from Map Completion in the 3 Arah Maps ).
Daily Fractal and Dungeon Runs: Rewards is guaranteed 1-3G, plus Rare Drops and Dungeon Currency which you can Buy the coresponding Dungeon Rares and Exotics to Salavge for Ectos.
PvE Zerg Runs: Rewards can be Rares to God knows what! Jormag Shatter Hydra Queen Fire Element all those guys gave you some Money making stuff!
Stay calm and Gather! Save it up and get stacks it pays in the end trust me.
Some small tips and tricks!
I vote for The Crossing even though its aprox. 222g ( Last time I checked).
Hello my fellow Tyrian Heros, this page is to tell my very Neutral and very Balanced thoughts on "Un-Soulbinding / Account Bound “Items,” and how this will effect the Trading Post Economy; with that being said let us dive in!
I have created a Volcanus Greatsword which I then Transmuted it with an Ascended Greatsword, eventually I regretted this decision greatly after I created Sunrise. I than desperately searched everywhere for the Non-Existant “Un-Soulbind” process, so now to begin with my thoughts; I suggest that A-Net brings in a Gem Store “Un-Soulbinding Item,” but to Balance this Item I suggest that this Item will have a Permenat 1-5 Account Purchase Limit that cannot be Gifted or Traded in any way and of course acquired with Gems so A-Net makes their $$$; the purpose of this is to releave the players who put hard time and determination into getting some type of Equipment than to soon regret it. I shall now add more detail into this.
1. Why not make all Soulbound Items Account Bound? Some players Example may want to give their Warrior’s Inquest / Barbaric / CoF / Whatever Heavy Armor and or Weapons to their Same Account Guardian, there’s no harm in that is there? As on the Rarity Side of this I think from Basic to Asceneded + Legendary anything should all be Account Bound as long as (If its Equipment / Weapons) still uses the “Light – Medium – Heavy Proffesion and Weapons System.”
2. Using my Ascended Volcanus as an Example I cannot just use this “Un-Soulbinder” to sell of this Ascended Weapon and Skin (Since Asceneded Equipment is not Sellable), I first must use a Transmutaion Spliter to sperate the two items; than I can “Un-Soulbind” the Volcanus and sell it off to the Trading Post and keep my Ascended Greatsword. As always the Ascended anything is Soulbound (Maybe with some luck Account Bound some day).
2. Continued: Economy wise how will this “Un-Soulbinder” effect the Economy other than it Wont? Example the New Spinal Blades Back Item came out with the recent Escape from Lions Arch update; what happened to the Economy? All the Materials that are required for creating and upgrading this Back Piece Sky Rocketed! But what’s happening right now to all those Sky Rockted Prices? After approximate 2-3 weeks now the prices are dropping; why is because when something cool and new is released people rush to create it but after everyone has the new Item, the prices will slowly return to their normal state. So now having all these “Un-Soulbinded Items” via my Volcanus; yes prices on whatever is being “Un-Soulbounded” will drop because its the new thing! But this isn’t some permeate Economic Depression, the prices will return to their normal state in time.
2. Side Note with more Detail: If this “Un-Soulbinder” is released anythig that’s Asceneded and Transmuted must be Un-Transmuted before being able to Sell anything other than the Asceneded Item. But also why is Ascended Gear Soulbound and or (Possilbe Future) Account Bound? You can Sell Off Legendary Weapons but what makes Ascended anything having to be Soul / Account Bound? This will not disrupt the Economy; only at first it will since there will be an Overflow of Asceneded Equipment being put into the Trading Post at once. But once again slowly with Time and Price Fluxuation, Ascended Equipment will find its place and become another family member with the Trading Post.
So summarizing my thoughts I’m sure you all have your own opinions and what not which is fine because we all need to be different to make something really fitting for everyone; but adding a “Un-Soulbinder” with Purchase Limits will make A-Net Money, make the Depressed Players (Myself) Happy ^,~,^! And yes the Economy will be in a bit of a Up Roar but once again given Time everything will find its perfect home in the Trading Post and Life goes on!
