How can you guys define whats even teams on a game thats been out like a month?

Sure are some of us come from GW1 and are treating it like that… so there is a bit of an advancement. For you new guys coming from other mmo’s hang in there.. .once everything clicks the game is really fun. It just takes a moment for everything to get clicking properly and understand this isnt your normal mmo

I just think the meta has not figured out how to deal with it yet…….. Stop running in and pressing buttons vrs the thief that’s his job…. If you spam race a thief you will loose….. As far as the Mesmer goes… Make sure you have them targeted not an illusion. Hold yourself heal till after they burst you (like with a thief) then rip into them….

Guys gw is not met to be a 1v1 game it takes team work to take down a single person…. Even after all these years I still hear “spike on 6” or “spike my target in 3 2 1”

So I’m curious… What realm is your serious sPvP team on? I wanna know where I should be playing!

About Me:
Timezone – Us/Central
Play Time – 7:00pm – 12:00pm, and all day on weekends
Age: 26
Experience:
I have competed in many esports games, normally in at least upper middle level of play. I played guildwars 1 when it first game out for several years and was even part of a GvG team that was found in the top 50 most of the time.
I understand communication and team strategy. I like to play support type roles (normally healer types), in GW 1 I played monk and interrupt rangers when we were not doing “FTM” builds like blood spike and searing flames.
Im perceptive in combat and am normally found identifying enemy plans (generally because im playing support and its my over all goal to “foil” these plans). I tend to have a high rate of communication so, if your team is one of those “shut up and do your job” teams, then please dont pm me.
What I want:
I want a serious team, with a practice schedule, and a goal to do well in competitive play. I expect there to be a team captain and team builds being worked on. Leadership MUST be strong, I do not follow people I do not respect.
I also expect there to be a try out, where I am fully informed about what will be expected of me, during the interview process… preferably before we get started trying out. If you are unfamiliar hosting a try out, that is fine but please inform me and maybe I can help with the process.
What I dont want:
I don’t want children, or people who are only half heartedly serious. My time is valuable, and I do not want it wasted with people who do not have the same goal. I also do not want to deal with any rages. Some times people make mistakes or games are lost, a good leader reviews why we lost (match recordings?) adjusts practice to match weak points and we move on. In my book only bad leaders rage and I do not tolerate it. The match you rage with be the match I leave.
Aside from that, I am pretty easy going. Dont have a problem with jokes of any sort, and I am very 420 friendly.
What I can offer:
I can offer a team member that will be at every practice and match, that will play any position required. I excel rapidly under proper direction, and will be an asset to any team. I have top of the line equipment and you will never hear the “ohh I was lagging” excuse from me… or any excuse for that matter.
I also do web development for a living, so I can assist in a website for the team, for things like a practice calendar, match results, and even game recordings.

Anything else I can over look… if I get along with the team members well enough.

Thank you for your reply, but I think I am looking for something a little more laser focused…. I want a team that is looking to work on the competitiveness in the game.. not just a big guild looking to scoop up everyone they can…

Looking for a team that is planning on competing in structured pvp, and the automated tournament system. Would love to get into a serious mature guild, and get a good head start on helping form the meta!

Any teams recruiting for structured PvP?

I played GvG in the first GW forever, and really enjoyed it. Would love to get a start while this game is just out, and start getting a team together for structored pvp.. if anyone out there is recruiting. Let me know, Ill play any class but in GW1 I played monks mesmers and interruption rangers.
