Guild Wars 2

Rolled back GPU drivers and it fixed the issue.
Cancel that. The problem was that I had moved the Guild Wars 2 directory from /Program Files(x86) to C:\ for use with enb. I had to move it back to get it to patch. Should be able to move it back to C:\ til next patch though. Just updating in case others are having issues.

Having the same issue. Have GW2 installed on 2 computers. The one I was playing WHEN the patch hit will not get past the splash screen. The other that has not been in game in a couple days d/l’d the new patch and worked like normal. Odd.

The computer having issues also never saw a message or anything indicating a new patch had landed. I just had to assume so based on what other people were saying and the fact that no more pvp servers were showing up and I was getting errors saying my world was full. Restarted the game in attempt to fix the error and get pvp servers to show and hasn’t worked since.

I don’t get an error or anything. I just see the splash screen before the login screen for about 2 seconds then it closes out. Should I make a new thread?

*I have checked all the registry entries, they are all there and all what they are supposed to be(except one pointing to a directory, but I changed it to my current folder and it made no dif, so I changed it back.
*I have checked to make sure necessary appdata/ files were there and all good.
*I tried updating permissions( since I moved my GW2 folder to C:\).
*I copied and pasted the gw2.dat and gw2.exe from a 2nd computer that is currently working fine with the new patch.

The only thing suspicious is that when I was in game the people I were playing with were all like “brb guys gonna load the new patch” while I had never even seen a message for it. I kept trying to load tourneys but it kept getting an error telling me that my world was full and there were no visible pvp servers. Finally I restarted and since haven’t gotten past the splash screen.
