I arrived to LA 15 min early, ended up in an overflow server waited for 25 min after is should have begun, nothing, no show, no achievement, nothing. Now I get to spend two hours waiting for the next show since I made into the “real” world. =(

Good work, that’s what we need. I can see your problem. Sli is disabled. You need to enable Sli in nvidia control panel.

Edit: Also your drivers are VERY old. Update your graphics driver immediately

One last thing, when I was setting it up since I have two ports that my monitor can plug into I “guessed” at which one, my hubby said it shoudn’t matter. The instructions said one would be capped but it wasn’t. I plugged it into the bottom one? Would this make any difference at all? Since my monitor turned on and worked I figured it was ok? (Noob hat now on and waiting for LOL’s)

To OP: There’s something wrong with the game and loads of people are having this issue (Low fps for no discernible reason at all) I don’t think you should be worrying about it being your system, it’s very likely to be the game.

I really hope so, My husband was out of town when it arrived so I set it myself I just hope I didn’t screw something up was looking for help here to make sure I didn’t =)

Cpuz screenshot, include memory tab. Gpuz screenshot. Realtemp screenshot. Also download Prime95 & take the cpuz screenshot with Prime95 running. You should be pulling 60fps 80% of the time.

Did this come pre-overclocked? Or did you clock it yourself? If it was pre-overclocked it was prob done by a noob & you’ll have to reset defaults. What resolution are you running?

It came that way I believe. As for the screen shots here is what I think you mean if you mean something else can you explain plz? Like I said not tech savvy, husband is but hes not here now =).

Late night here so I run better then say around 6-11pm. Its currently 2am so I get better frame rates but I don’t want to have forgo sleep so I can play.

Hello Everyone! I’m not tech savvy just wanted to get that out there. I just bought a new system so I could play this game. My old system would black screen an die after 10min of playing. So I looked up the best graphics cards from the beta tests and did some research on what to look for in a gaming desktop for GW2 playing. I spent a lot of time and money getting this new system. Its up and running. Its preforming like I’m tying to play this on 10 year old system instead of a 10day old system. Here are my specs can post more if needed (and if told where to look).

I am averaging 20fps, but during events with large AOE it drops to 5fps. There have been times my character freezes on screen I can not move at all, yet everyone is able to move around me and I can see them moving just fine. I have a High Speed DSL internet connection that we also upgraded recently (not sure to what). When I set the graphics to Auto detect everything is on High, Ultra, FXAA. I tried best performance and well the game looked like C%^p.

Would love some tips on how to improve my game play experience so I do not lag as much and can enjoy the stunning visuals like I intended? Please tell me it not my system and something game related I would cry if I spent all that money for nothing!?

The lag has now made my game unplayable, it took my 10 min to move 5 yards. I tried to do a personal mission and the lag in there was worse. The screen froze on a cut scene when it unfroze I was dead on the ground all npc’s were dead and I was surrounded by ice elementals. Hopefully this gets fixed soon, because Im stuck.

all drivers are up to date as well. Yet I am averaging about 20fps, just now I dropped to 5fps during an entire personal story mission. If it wasn’t for the npcs I’m sure I would have failed it due to excessive lag. I am hoping its jut the game.

We are a friendly guild that we think of as Semi-Casual. We focus mostly on having fun, whether that means PvE, PvP or WvW we don’t care. You choose what you like, we just want to all have fun together in a relaxed atmosphere.

We are a new guild to Guild Wars but most of us have been playing for years, we played GW1 together and some us played WoW together, while others are new to us. We love having a good time and playing through wipes while laughing!

Do Mesmers get any better?

I love my Mesmer, granted I mostly do PvE with her. I found her extremely easy to level an her damage out put is on par with most the people I run with. I kill enemies just as fast if not faster then they do. What I noticed most about her, I die way less … a lot less in fact. I have a guild member who plays an engineer, they are at over 100 deaths, same for the ele, and ranger, but me I made lvl 80 with 60 deaths to my name, and most of those came from us learning dungeons. In environment I hardly died, if I over pulled I left my clones to to keep them at bay and ran for it so I could regroup. Its all about learning what you can an can not do on your own vs with a group and keeping a plethora of weps to swap between for each situation you find yourself in.

Ok, guys. I’m surprised to see some of you who have been out for several more days than I expected. And that tells me that your issue may have been put in the wrong queue. So again, please choose your oldest ticket, and update it with as much information as you can give (see my post above). Change the subject line (if you can) to Hacked Account (if that’s what you know happened) and then resubmit.

Then, close the others, because they are not needed and only clog the queues. The oldest tickets should be worked on first, so I’m going to gather some numbers from various posts in this forum and ask our top agents to give them a look. Will post when I know more, but if you can take the steps I’ve outlined above, that would help you (and us) a lot!

ok well if your not happy with the support issues then leave the game no one is holding you here and putting up in ANet’s face how much better other games were on lanuch date isnt going to help. everyone who needs support is the in the same boat as you im waiting on a hacked account as well. your not the only one but constantly complaining isnt going to get your ticket resolved anytime sooner look at the other posts this isnt the first one like this.

You missed the point of my post entirely. She can not leave a game she hasn’t even gotten access to yet. We know they have been dealing with accounts that have been hacked. But she hasn’t even been able to login ONCE, at least hacked accounts have been able to play.

Whats most frustrating is that she hasn’t even been able to login once since launch day, also the day we opened the ticket. She knows this was her screw up but she had just worked a double an was tired. And like you Wouter we are a gaming family an have played several MMO’s and this has to be the longest we have ever waited to get a response from any support team. I feel her frustration.

You didn’t really give any info about what’s happened. Does it say the account is banned? If it’s a password issue and she has an NCSoft Master account with the GW1 account attached you may be able to solve the problem using that if it’s an email issue or password issue.

When she was registering the game she typo’d the email address. It told her registration was complete the but the typo means she couldn’t access the email address because it doesn’t exist. It allowed her to link the accounts, she has tried the typo to login an it tells her this account doesn’t exist, she tried her old account info and gets “There is no guild wars 2 registered to this account”. She knows she messed up but it can’t be that hard to say “Hey we saw your ticket and are working on it”.

My daughter opened a ticket on Aug 28, we never got a response. So we followed the directions again and opened a second ticket on Aug 29, got an automated form response. Since then we have gotten one, ONE single response on the 29 of “We are looking into this”. We have begged, pleaded, updated it with as much information is as humanly possible. We have left phone numbers, addresses, email addresses and more asking for ANY kind of communication from your support team we have received 0 responses.

This has made us wonder why we did we spend so much money on your game when we as the customer can not even get it to work. We followed your suggestion last night to open a new ticket with the header Blocking login-120829-011909-08/29/2012 only to find out today that was a bad idea. Great another reason not to support us.

The lack of support I (a paying customer) has received has been so underwhelming that if it wasn’t for the fact I can’t return my OPENED copy to get a refund I would have done so already. To say that I am a disappointed customer at this point in time is an understatement. This has been the worst present we have ever gotten her.

This has effected both of her accounts Guild Wars 1 and Guild Wars 2 are both inaccessible, effectively wasting all the money we have spent on both of them. Out of desperation she even called your offices in Washington, only to be told we cant help you. I understand be patient, but our patience is wearing thin. We would just like to know that her ticket has been looked at, is that too much ask? She can’t even post in the forums because according you guys she doesn’t have an account. I doubt this will even get any responses at this point.

A severely disappointed customer.
