As a RP focused server there can sometimes be a lack of a place for people to go and relax away from the RP setting. As a passionate RP’er within your community it is with this void in mind i bring you news of this:
Keyboard Warriors is a multi-game community made up of adult players from around Europe. We have built up communities in other games and seek to expand. One of these avenues of expansion is within Guild Wars 2.
The community is a new brainchild from our large guild within APB. For 3-4 years the Metropolitan police have been the best and most authentic police rp clan in APB, including articles in many gaming magazines. Known for our strict attention to detail and ability to play at the higher leagues and still look good the clan grew and grew. As the game slowly died we started getting involved in other area’s carrying with us our quality and skill. With the foundation now in place we have become active in many games. We are developing our minecraft server into a serious team v team pvp server, our total war side is climbing the ladder ranks, we have a league of legends and dota2 team dedicated to training new players and finally our eyes look towards the future with an aim to take on many of this years promising titles. With a library of 14 active games and many more on occasion we are sure there will be something there for you.
Our guild therefore is here for those RP’ers who would like somewhere social to extend to when the RP is over. When they want a bit of organised WvW, an afternoon of Spvp or seek to spend an evening running a dungeon.
Additional benefits include access to our Community forums. As well as access to our dedicated servers for games such as minecraft, total war series, APB, Simcity and an ever growing list of games. All held together with our large capacity social ventrilo server.
Finally, keyboard warriors is an open gaming community, meaning no more power tripping officers, no segregation, as a member you have say what you do and how you do it. We merely exist to provide players a way of finding others!

Yes it is, you will not be able to transfer a necro armor piece over to the mesmer, this was a bug that was present early on in launch.
Its not fixed and is still very doable.
Do as follows:
1. Roll a spare character for the necro mask you want.
2 get through the first part, untill you finish the intial story section and are put in your starter area
3. goto the armoursmith and select the lvl 10 tab on his sale menu. Buy a light helm
4. Transmute the light helm with the appearance of the necro mask
5. place the new item in the bank
6 switch to your mesmer, remove from bank, enjoy.
I use the necro blue glow eyes on my mesmer all the time
Edit: Just a heads up too. Soulbound doesnt apply to class unique items anymore, when transmuted they are account bound.
So..your advice was to change to a shatter spec… Lol
Thinking about it, you could just open the gates to the non-instanced version and make it an official area. There’s no problems in the non instanced district as has been proven.
There’s a few ways to jump into a non-instanced version of the Salma District, a lot of people do that on my server in order to RP back there. Is this safe? As far as I know there’s nothing back there but a lot of cool, empty buildings, nothing to buy, nothing to sell to, no exploits. Is it okay with A-net if we go back there to play around or will that get us banned?
Somebody get back to me please. I’d like to know!
Way to make yourself very unpopular with rp’ers.
In reference to closing this off can I just state that we on the RP servers request before you ruin our rp even more you add some more open houses so that we are not forced into dull tavern roleplay. The Salma district has 4 possibly 5 open houses that can be used for roleplay. Other than that, there is only around 8 other open houses in divinity’s reach. This isn’t enough and removing these 5 is a big impact.
While I understand anet doesn’t support roleplay officially surely you can recognise that as rp’ers we probably have higher cash shop purchases for skins and vanity items, and as we set up committed long term story lines we are less likely to go leaving the game as such the rage kids do over there class/pvp/dungeon issues.
Tldr: stop making roleplay harder with “fixes” such as these.

Just to add here since our rather irksome WvW guildies are waving certain kittens around. Piken square is currently doing well due to good communication and co-ordination. Certain guilds, like insanesu’s keep themselves to themselves and serve the role of night time/early morning. As such they dont communicate in any desirable way with the others hence the split down the middle where communication is concerned.
Piken has a very stable community due to it being the ONLY EU RP server. As such its players, the RP’ers anyway, rarely transfer as there is simply no where else for them to go. Now naturally not all WvW’ers are RP’ers and these can and will change servers however our general turn out primetime will always be around the same. As such transfers in and off of that drastically effect the queues as we dont have the fluctuations the competitive servers do. This was highlighted by the recent GH matchup, where we dominated for three weeks against the same opponents. Before this we never won much and normal servers lost their WvW guilds at this time. Ours however stayed, and in turn got bogged down by the mass transfers when we begun to win.
Insanesu wont have seen this, as his guild was one of these “bandwagoning” guilds at the time that transfered over. Such as the effect is we seek to negate the risk that any guilds transferring in would cause.
To sum it up, piken is packed come prime time, 100+ players transfering will effect the queues for the worse. if your players are ok with that then there is nothing we can do to stop you. As a rp server we are generally a nice bunch and this whole “not welcome” kittenstorm is not exactly an example of what the community as a whole is like. The thing is, if you guys want huge queues, then feel free to wander on over. Dont let elitism win.

Kits don’t use stats as they still use the “pickup weapon” system that enviromental weapons use. Same goes for thiefs stolen weaps. Reason this hasn’t been changed is that the engine currently factors in slotted weapons with stats yet our kits do not use a equipment slot so as far as the engines concerned you have no such weapon.
What people here want is for them to combine the two independent systems within combat to allow the stats of one to effect the other but doing that would directly change environmental weapons to also use weapon stats, if not for all classes at least for the engi.
They won’t do that.
The other option is to redesign kits to not be droppable weapons using the pickup system and instead as animations as part of skills. However again..skills don’t get separate skill bars, that’s part of the pickup system. So that would have to be changed too. Then, as a result the kits would use your overall stats, not just the weapon ones. Still better than nothing? Maybe, but then kits would need rebalancing due to various buffs and boons from skills, utilities, other players would all effect the kits damage.
As it stands now, we cry for stats on kits however the consequence would be that kits would be nerfed heavily and wouldn’t give us the damage they do now until you are in exotics with max gear and buffed up. As has been said, kits are tuned to be, like all pickup weapons, average damage expected at your level. At 80 that is exotic level. Granted it may need buffing, but stats won’t happen no matter how’s much you ask.
Besides, there’s 2 devs responsible for the classes.. This won’t happen.

To be honest it’s looking like everyone’s balanced except warrior and that toughness and health value should be dropped down a notch and boom, balance.
You want to rage, go look at the ranger forums, they were promised changes that never came. Or us engis, whose 30 bullets turned into nothing more than a grenade nerf. how about guardians lack of range, or millions of thiefs crying about their needed nerf.
Just be glad you had viable builds before this patch, a lot of us didn’t, welcome to the masses.
