Reloading by leaving and re-entering the Clocktower instance, causing the 3 smaller chests to be reset without having to wait 15 minutes for the server to restart.

I’m going to assume its a deliberate nerf.

Doubt it. After all, the three smaller chests along the way still give bags and still reset every 8-15 minutes.

edit: Also, it’s silly to be able to get a big chest with nothing in it.

You do know that gold is generated by the system from nothing, right? It’s not a closed economy. That’s why there are so many gold sinks because they need to destroy the gold that is being generated. The gold you spend wasn’t introduced to the system from gems. The gold you spend stops existing, there isn’t some well where all the gold comes from/goes to and if everyone stopped spending any gold on anything it would eventually run dry.

That has nothing to do with his claim. His claim is that all gems enter the economy via real money exchange. Gems you buy with gold have already been bought with money and sold for gold.

I’m not 100% sure whether storyline rewards are affected by dynamic levelling. I’m assuming mission completion gives 27% of the XP a character needs to go from (mission level) to (mission level + 1) regardless of what the character’s current level is.

Given that, the entire personal storyline gives about 1,197,300 XP. You hit 80 at 4,860,359 XP, so to hit 80 using only personal story mission completion rewards, you’d start at 3,663,059 XP, which is 73% of the way through level 74.

(Looked at from the other side, if you were somehow able to get those 1,197,300 XP by doing nothing but completing story missions with a new character, you’d level him about halfway though level 54.)

Of course, in reality you’d be killing a lot of enemies during those missions and the XP from those kills would definitely be affected by dynamic levelling, so for early missions the kills would be helping you more than the actual mission reward. I’m not going to figure that out, though. I imagine it would be hard to avoid getting some XP from exploration as well.

It’s 50 for story mode, 55 for the old 2 explorable paths, and 80 for the new one that just came out, which is the one that everyone wants to do.
