Hey folks, rank 19 Mesmer here. “New” to gw2 pvp, but not new to pvp by any means. I’ve done competitive pvp in a variety of games such as darkfall, swtor, planetside, planetside 2 and others.

I think that I could benefit from finding a group of buds to play with who are great communicators on field. Please feel free to mail/contacts in game. I’m looking for an active spvp guild.

Are there any organized sPVP guilds out there? I’ve done competitive pvp in other games and want to get some sPVP experience with a well-organized guild. I am willing to transfer servers. 80 Ele and 80 Mesmer.

Lets stop and consider the following. If your Teamspeak is hosted by a company, and not someone’s personal computer (in their house), then chances are it’s on a VPS, or run as a service. If it is on a VPS, then the company houses many different websites and services on the same rack. If one or some of those VPS’s are under attack, chances are the router/switch and the rack are under a load of stress, which in turn affects network traffic to your Teamspeak server.

Before you say that someone is deliberately trying to cause you (and only you) harm, think about how small and insignificant one teamspeak server is compared to what else could be going on in the world. It’s not always someone out to get YOU.

PS. The chances of your rack being under attack by other servers or individuals is much higher than 5 or 6 guys targeting your VPS Teamspeak with a strategic DDoS.

The TS isn’t ran by a private company – more like a public nonprofit, if anything.

And there are 300+ members online in the TS at a time … there is a lot of incentive to DDOS a TS server.

And you make it seem like its hard to shut down a small server with a DDOS. Its not, really.

So take your buzzwords and get outta’ here.

Just dodge. They always RTL then updraft afterward. When you see them coming for you, just dodge.

So, some guild on either Jade Quarry or Blackgate is DDOSing our community TS server. Not going to cry, point fingers, etc – Just going to say NOT COOL.

Just go hit up Xiao Ping and get ULTRA FAST GOLD DELIVERY and make your quiver. Duhh

We have been running nonstop with zero wipes until colossus fractal level 12. This is the first boss where we had to give up for the night and lose all of our progress, it was really disheartening and frustrating.

All of our members have quivers with agony resistance. One of us has a ring with +5 agony resistance.

The adds are just way too much of a problem with us.

Fanatics are backstabbing for 10k+. The rest are veterans … the first time we wiped and we came back we tried to clear the room, but the room has about 20 mobs and we are only able to get 3-5 of them killed before the boss is pulled with them (despite best efforts).

We know that the adds re-spawn until we hit the seal. I believe the most amount of times we’ve hit the seal is 2x before wiping.

Does anyone have any advice? =|

I also had a similar experience. Completed the bonus level (Jade) on Level 4 and me or any of my party members did not receive any tokens.

Has anyone tried 6? I would like to know if it is worth pushing up.

oh come on, I dunno exactly which one you mean, but the one in asura-like environment with harpies is the easiest one in the game…I wouldn’t even call it a jumping puzzle…you can do the jumps even in combat

You guys don’t understand… I seriously have a problem with jump puzzles… I think I have a serious problem with depth perception.

My BF is Green/blue colorblind and he doesn’t complain about wvw

Problems with this:
Trip wire TOO hard to see – make them more noticeable. I basically have to memorize them all to jump over.
Moss man – Whats he even for? We just ignored him and he poofs then comes back randomly. He isn’t threatening he just appears go crazy and leaves. Remove him or do…something with him.
The doors – Please just remove these, traps/mobs are enough. “Trick” door you have to exploit up by jumping up it to get through is just annoying.

Ohh also for the all the is mighty STOP making them swap places! Multiple times I have had them “swap” during a run because it took so long to setup and REMOVE the wisps from us.

Moss man ends up being one of the two (chosen randomly) final boss encounters for the map.

Once you get to fractal level 6, moss man will be very annoying. He will do a lot of damage, do knockbacks, and go in and out of stealth for random amounts of time. He also seems to stalk you for a longer distance.

That, and cloth classes get 2-3 hit by 2 skelks.

PLEASE make the traps easier to see. And the whole popping up trees … yeah … kind of kittening stupid.

I’m just afraid that the devs are going to start to realize that anyone who plays an elementalist for an extended amount of times is innately more skilled than 90% of the players out there, and therefore deserves a base-line nerf to compensate.

But devs, if your class weren’t so fun and hard to play, we wouldn’t be better

AoE the enemy as they stand there like a deer in headlights.

I don’t understand why they let us AOE them down for 10 minutes straight.

But now we know AOE heals/frantically spamming “F” to rez a downed player can last as long as that.
