I need to know the general community’s opinion on something. We all know that dodging happens, but where do we stand when a confirmed GvG gets cancelled?

This week, Mya cancelled their GvG against us. This is not a normal “dodge” – this is a fight that had been organised and confirmed, and was even up on the GW2 GvG site under “upcoming GvG’s”.

Scnd has transferred to Riverside for a GvG tour week and Mya was our first match today. They cancelled on us yesterday, with less than 24hrs notice. We, as a guild, do not feel as though their reasons are acceptable and we are extremely disappointed.

I can understand not wanting official GvG’s if you are lacking leaders, core members, and the like, but when you confirm a GvG that is a commitment that you would expect people to upkeep. You can’t really go from wanting an official fight one day, to only a scrimm the next without a big reason.

If both sides do not agree on the cancelling of the fight, does it count as a forfeit and an instant loss for the guild pulling out? Surely pulling out of a confirmed GvG looks worse on your “rep” than if you were to lose a match.

If you guys just want the point’s we can confirm 5:0 for you. No problem. But currently we got some internal things we need to clear. That’s the reason why we already changed the status “Available for GvG to NO”.

Thanks to [VII] for the GvG. Was not our best day and you have found a very good remedy against us. Respect and greetz to you guys! We will be working on it and hope that in future we will have a rematch.

Was a great WvW-Day today! First some fight’s with SFR at Bay, than some trainings GvG’s against [GD]; thx for that! I think it will be really interesting when we meet us again. At the end we got some epic fights in the SFR garri against [Opt] and [OSC].

Currently [Mya] decided to decline GvG’s because we have no WvW/GvG-Leads and some ppl are in holidays. We run with some recruits and hope you guys can understand our decision. I guess we can start with GvG’s again in 1-2 Weeks.

At weekend most of our guilds do no raid . So we get some ppl from all guilds together who want to play. Today most guilds starting to run on there own, like us.

In the comments to the first video they stated that “the only purpose of this video is to spite the blobs of Abba”. Also, they created new tags with a derogative meaning (at least in their own minds) just for mocking us even more. There should be no doubt what their intention was, even for someone who cant understand the comments under the video.

It’s a rude, disrespectful and immature way to behave.

And where the hell is the problem, if we want to spite the blobs of Abba? .__. You dont want to spite the other server if u fight against them? They arent our friends in these game :P… I think your only problem is, that we had the fun with abba guys..
