Alright so if this is due to the transferring of conditions while you have the self inflicted conditions from epidemic, can we just hot fix epidemic to not have the self inflicted conditions until the issues are fixed?

At this point we have a broken skill combination in the game that can be detrimental to anyone playing the class and although Anet is fixing it and we appreciate that, the fact is that its left in there in this broken form and has been for hours now.

Most of this is rambling bs, TL:DR at the bottom.

Warriors adds a lot to the group and even with the things that you’ve mentioned Im not sure it measures up. Warriors are really disproportionately good with buffs

A standard Power PS Berserkers generally gives
Exclusive Buffs
Banner of Strength: 170 Power, 170 Condition Damage
Banner of Discipline: 170 Precision, 170 Ferocity
Empower Allies: 150 Power
Unexclusive Buffs/boons
Might

In order to even be considered an even counterpart in stat numbers alone you would need a handful of buffs to make up for the what exactly the Warrior brings.
150 Expertise, 100 Condition Damage aren’t really going to cut it when compared to 320 Power, 170 Condi Damage 170 Precision (Roughly 8% crit chance), 170 Ferocity (Roughly 11% Crit Damage) all of that prior to adding in any boons they bring.

Precision boosts both Condi and Power classes so it should be matched.
The condi/power can be switched maybe substitute some of the coni damage for duration.
Given that Condi Duration is capped where ferocity isnt 10% condition damge may be a nice option.

So overall, to offer similar numbers from stats along I think you would need to look more like 170 Condition Damage, 170 Precision, 170 Power and 10% Condition Damage, 150 expertise. And thats prior to any boons being considered.

Given that Necros offer other utility value (assuming that they would keep it), other than these things, If something like this was to come into play I wouldn’t really object to it missing out on the might stacking and having that come from another source. I would probably give it some access to spreading fury or something though in the place of might.

Overall, I dont mind the ideas but when you really look at it the warrior brings a whole bunch to the table in terms of damage increases. The equivalent of 250 stat points into condi stats isnt going to compare to whats currently out there.

This is all without really taking everything into consideration though, stacking buffs together with what a warrior brings may lead to undesired results. Engineer and Ranger would likely see a nerf if any of this came into play and given anet’s track record they would likely be nerfed into a place we’ve seen far too many classes go.

A shift like this would create an unbalance within the game but honestly the current state of the game is far from balanced as it is and I think Anet has been moving in the wrong direction with their “balance” patches. Until there is more of a skill split between the 3 game modes and 10 man content is treated like 10 man content and not 5 man content balance and diversity are going to be hard to find.

Slightly off topic but Id personally like to see the potential combination of a Reaper and a Condi Tempest filling the role of a PS Warrior + DPS class. Giving a slight buff to the Reaper and Condi tempest so their damage and buffs are equivalent to that of a PS Warrior + Power Tempest. Allow the condi tempest glyph of elemental power to give a party a buff to their damage to counter a warriors banner as the alternate option and they can currently stack party wide might like crazy when you pair the might stacking trait with a warhorn. The Reaper takes care of the other buffs. I dont really think more options and versatility are a bad thing. It brings a condi PS into the mix as well given that it can still stack might, offer some fury and would receive a damage boost from the changes.

TL:DR
~Warriors buffs are way out of line with most things in this game.
~You would need to up the group buffs to stupid levels if you want to even be mentioned in the same breath as them.

As a guild leader it would be nice to have the Admin lower ranks permission split up a little bit. Having a member invite is a permission that doesn’t really have any negative potential and is something that would be nice to give to more members. However doing so leaves the guild vulnerable if someone decides to leave the guild on bad terms.

It would be great if Admin Lower Ranks was limited to Promote, Demote and Kick with a new permission for Inviteing.

[GH] PvX guild recruiting raid players

Grindhouse Gaming is currently recruiting members.

We are an 18+ NA PvX guild that has weekly events.

GH and raiding – We currently run two to three raid nights a week. We are laid back and willing to teach others how to raid. Our raids require you run specific gear. Berserker, Magi , Vipers ect. depending on your class and role. We also require you to run certain traits to best help the group comp. We run our raids differently than most groups and require our members to sign up on our forums for the events. Our raiding events are as follows:

Tuesdays 8pm EST – Raid Night
This raid required fully ascended and is set up to clear the entire wing in one run. This raid is setup for experienced raiders and aims at a full clear of the wings if time permits.

Thursday 8pm EST – Training Raid
This is a laid back raid, we only require exotics or better, the goal of this night is to get as many of our guild members through the Spirit Vale and teach new members how to do the fight. Once we get everyone through that signed up we then proceed to a second wing. This is a nice introduction to the other wings as well. If things go smooth enough and members get enough practice the raid will progress faster and further.

Saturday 8pm EST – Raid Night
This raid isnt run every week but will focus on what the other raid nights didnt finish as well as trying new strategies and giving more people some experience.

Other events GH runs throughout the week:
Monday 8pm EST – Ebay WvW
Monday 10pm EST – Guild Missions
Friday 6pm EST – Ebay WvW Reset

We are a level 65 guild.

Depending on member times zones we would like to host more event. Unofficially there are always members getting groups together to run fractals, dungeons, WvW, Pvp, meta events and more. Our members are very helpful and always willing to help people out with their achievements or really anything else you can think of.

WvW and the Heart of Thorns Release

So you move reset to a new day, effectively turning one of you highest population nights for wvw, a night where even lower population tiers can get map queues, into a pointless time in most match ups making it a K-Train night.

Your response to people being upset with it is moving it to a time where the majority of organized guilds wont be running leaving reset up to militia groups that run around during the middle of the day. A time zone thats generally pretty un-blanced across most NA servers.

Nothing will be more fun than to have some server groups hiding in upgraded keeps and sitting on siege at the time the majority of guild groups actually get around.

The reason Friday night was so good for reset is that it had a higher population at one time of the day than any other time in the week. PPT guilds got to start on even footing, fight guilds had numbers to go up against.

The weekend would generally keep things close with scores starting to blow out on Monday or Tuesday. It made the whole weekend relevant and now Friday night is just meaning less.

Friday can be a big night for people to do things. Reset was fun and exciting and could draw people in. Now with these changes there is no point for people to even login to wvw or guild wars on Friday nights

Good news for local pubs, Bad news for Anet.

Something should be done with the trait system because the current system that was implemented really discourages new players from trying out different builds. For new players sinking gold just to unlock a trait they may or may not want or being forced to do content that they don’t want to do is a really stupid way to set it up.

Maybe have a few locked like all of the grandmaster traits but having all of the traits locked is just ridiculous and promotes people just finding one build and not experimenting with it.

Final Rest graphic bug for necromancers

The necro staff effect is in the wrong location on the final rest. The scythe effect comes from the middle of the final rest rather than the top.
