Help, I am in hot water! My wife had an issue where she purchased some black lion keys with gems and I was helping her… by accident I un-clicked ‘remember password’.
Well, now we can’t remember her password. We have tried everything we can think of… we have tried every combo of passwords we think we have used.
We try to reset the password, but well it seems she has no idea what happened to the email from August of last year with the account key in it. She probably deleted it.
Is there any hope? We have a ticket open but the GM is asking for the CD Key. If she can’t play, well… I can’t play. You know how it is.

I did some testing on the turrets with deployable turrets and non deployable turrets.
Flame Turret: The damage is the same but the cooldown is longer 40 vs 25 seconds. I can’t tell if it is using the old or new radius. My guess is that it is the old turret based on the cooldown.
Thumper turret: The deployable one does not have the cripple effect, and the damage is lower. Deployable turret uses the old turret. Which really sucks because I was hoping my dream of throwing an awesome thumper in the middle of a crowd would finally come true.
The Net Turret: The net turret seems to be the same with both the deployable turret trait on and off.
Rocket Turret: No change between deployable and non deployable.
Rifle Turret: No change between deployable and non deployable. Both seem to be new turret.
I would love the see the crowbar become a weapon and allow us to start using weapon swapping… thought I know it isn’t very likely to happen at all. that would free up a slot so I could run 3 turrets instead of 2 like I do now.
I am discovering that when running turrets currently the toolkit is a must.
I am sooo happy to hear this! After the deployable turret fix I started playing with turrets again, they really are my preferred playstyle. They have a long way to go and I am glad that you are working towards that.
I am leveling my engineer finally and decided I didn’t care if they where horrible, I was playing turrets because I like the playstyle. The fix to deployable turrets in the last patch helped a ton. Being able to drop my thumper right in the middle of a crowd, and throw my rifle turret off to the side has helped immensely.
one of my favorites now is just standing on my thumper with my crowbar out and smacking down everything that comes my way. (PVE of course).
Once I hit 80 and start WvWvW I may find I am horrible but until then I am having a ton of fun.
I am returning to the game after a break, and have picked up leveling my engineer again.
I love turrets, I love the way they play and I am leveling my engineer with the hopes that one day they are made viable. I have been leveling using them and they have been great until recently… I am starting to feel the dropoff. I am sure everyone knows the problems with turrents so I don’t see a reason to go into the issues.
That being said, what direction should I go to for leveling out the last 36 levels? I am ready to buy a new round of gear (Right now I am cond. geared with P/P) and weapons, so I am an open book. I should probably start learning a more end game playstyle as I am sure I won’t be much help to a group with my l33t turrets in dungeons
I am also wanting to start doing some dungeon runs so I want to be useful there. When I get bored I might run around WvWvW but being a lowbie I am fodder so that doesn’t matter yet.
I don’t know if it is FIFO now, but I can definitely say that it is no longer smaller orders first. Even a buy order for 1 item at the ‘going rate’ will not complete. My guess is that FIFO is now in full effect. I imagine there will be a lot of undercutting while people reduce inventory, as that is the only way to unload goods for capital quickly.
Now to find a new market and a new strategy… it was a fun ride while it lasted.
