The most difficult JP in the game currently is by far the Not so Secret JP, and from my experience, its present state is causing a lot of pain and trouble for many players.

So my question to you guys, if Anet were to redesign it; What changes would you like to see in order for the puzzle to still be difficult, but more fair to the players?

In my personal opinion, I would really appriciate checkpoints from which you can easily restart your progress no matter if you log out (since a significant amount of time is needed to complete it), or die. A checkpoint system similar to what is already in place in SW could potentially be a solution.

Last boss fight bugged (Some spoilers)

So during the fight with Mordemoth I discovered on several occations that the platform itself was not being loaded correctly and thus creating issues with getting to the rifts ( a huge chunk around the rifts where not loading in correctly).

Most often I found that this issue was not that big of a deal since the first rift usually loaded, and the one on the other side of the platform, but during some tries the very first would not load thus blocking my progress completely.

I would appriciate it if this issue could be fixed as I really enjoyed the story so far, and would like the chance to finish it

(Side note: I am posting this here as Mordemoth would not allow me to write a proper report in game)

Pet passive mode

Thank you all for being patient with this. Something we introduced on 3/16 broke passive mode. We believe we now have a fix for this and it is in testing. As soon as we confirm this fix has solved this issue we will push it to the live game at the first possible time.

Hey John,

While the “broken” passive mode had a few disadvantages, it also had advantages. For example I really liked how I did not have to command my passive pet each time to attack an enemy (although that made pulling harder). I would really like to see something like that as another pet mode in HoT as a QoL improvement. So that we end up with three pet stances:

  • Aggressive: Attacks everything on sight.
  • Defensive: Only attacks the enemy you are attacking.
  • Passive: Only attacks if specifcly commanded to.

I would really appreciate this.

I personally think that this is a great idea, and I would appriciate it very much if this was added into the game. It would be of great benefit to us ranger-players who wish to have the option to keep a completely passive pet during certain bosses/fights
