As the title states, wondering if repeating the Byzantium chest gives you a llama box each time you complete it. Was going to use all my tickets today to work on the black llama but if I can get more llamas doing Byzantium then I’d rather wait.

Just tried it again tonight for the first time since I made this thread and he popped normally after the pre events were finished. So looks like all is good now, hopefully.

Are you catching it at the correct spawn times? Modniir Ulgoth is a world boss, so it’s only up once every three hours (next spawn time is in a little under 2.5 hours from now). The pre-events for it will continue to run all day long, even if the boss isn’t due to be up, however.

Oh yeah I am as are many many others. We’ve all gathered waiting for it. We get the "you have “time” to bring out Ulgoth" and then nothing happens but the timer goes down.

Even with all of the events completed, Camps taken over. Ulgoth event doesn’t happen. Timer just goes on then event “ends”. This has been the case all day today. Been trying to get it done for the Chuka collection, but haven’t been able to because of the bug.

I’m using my Ascended shards of glory on the HOTM vendor, And I was planning to get 2 accessories so i can choose Viper stats on both, I know that other trinkets you can’t use 2 of the same on a character cause they say “Unique”. But Mist talisman does not say unique.

So does anyone know if you can use 2? Want to double check before I purchase 2.

Nah you just get the 20g and the other stuff, no Ascended Shards or Llamas after the first iteration (I’ve done it like 8-10 times now – 158 games).

I’m about to finish it for the first time, do you get the 25 tickets again on the repeat?

Newly-obtained ones can be. The ones that dropped before the fix are still account bound.

Wish I had known this was a “bug” before I spent hundreds of gold on bags trying to get the minis. :/

I had opened 20k ToT bags and didn’t get a single new item. No new weapon and no new mini.

Last year my rng was awful aswell, I had to buy all the weapons and minis cause no matter how many bags I was opening I just wasn’t getting anything during the 2 weeks except mb like 3 or 4 doubles of the dog and thats all.

But this year I can’t even do that because the minis are not tradeable. I would have been willing to pay for these with gems, I bought gems ahead of time just incase, but instead I wasted lots of gold buying bags and time trying to farm.

Its really a shame that we only get 2 weeks to try and get everything when the ToT bag rng is this bad.

ofcourse yours might not be in C location but you get what i mean. I had some trouble figuring this out yesterday, many places werent clear on it.

I actually defragged last night, it made the game client start up alot faster but I still have the way too long load times. :/

After tuesdays patch my load times have been horrible, from 30 secs to 1 minute. Sometimes even longer. Happens when loading into most maps, whether its Lions Arch, Brisban, or Fractals. I had been using the 64bit client, but today I went back to the 32bit client to see if that would help.

But it didn’t. I always seem to get this problem after certain patches(like march 8th, this problem lasted awhile after that patch) but then the problem goes away when other patches happen, as if it fixed the problem. Yet returns later with another patch.

Anyone else with this on again off again problem? It’s become very annoying/irritating. And really hoping very a patch soon that’ll fix it.

I have all my drivers up to date and I’ve tried disabling anti virus etc. No luck.

I really wish I could get a continue coin somehow, I spent so much gold/gems buying black lion chests when they brought back the super minis couple months ago. All I need is a continue coin so i can make Super Assassin mini…

Been wanting him for the longest time. Always have people telling me they wish they could send me a coin cause they have so many. But they are account bound so.. yeah the loooong wait continues. :/

Actually I’m having this problem today aswell, decided to log in and do some pvp, but I had some extreme lag in the game. I thought it was my internet so I restarted my modem and router. Then i tried to get on the game again and it kept dcing me, “the game client has lost connection to the server.”.

Ran speed tests and checked websites, youtube vids etc. and my internet is running perfectly fine. Its just GW2 giving me problems, I just got into the game but contact list wont load and it showed my ping is 2250! which I’ve never had before. :/

But is this going to be like the BL chest key “increase”? Where its increased from 0.00005% chance to 0.00007% chance? >.<

Actually pretty sure they said “almost 2 weeks” so expect it to come to an end this coming tuesday.

Yup. I’m having this problem on my desktop. (It works fine on my laptop.) It doesn’t matter what class, what level, or what zone, still crashes. I’ve tried deleting the local.dat, and I ran a repair, and restarted the computer. Nothing’s worked.

Yeah I tried a repair aswell hoping that would fix it, but nope. Was all fine til the latest update.

After downloading the latest patch, my client crashes after I select a character to start the game. Client closes and the pop up box(to send the crash report to anet) appears. Anyone else having this problem after latest update?

Has anyone gotten the new Moa mini with pumpkin on his head yet? I didnt see it in any of the vendors and havent seen it on TP. or have they not released it yet?

Appearantly the Halloween reward track was here last year, it wasn’t announced before hand, it just appeared, I couldnt be around for last years Halloween so I’m looking forward to doing nothing but Halloween this year.

Is there going to be a Halloween reward track for pvp this year? Wondering if it was mentioned anywhere.

I’m having the same problem and also the forum is loading verrrrrrry slowly for me.

If they’d only let me have a continue coin right now to make my Super Assassin mini, since SAB isnt coming back anytime soon. Its the only thing I’m missing from the recipe.

I don’t know about specifics to your situation, general suggestion would be to try running a repair on the client.

Yeah I just did this, tomorrow morning I’ll be doing fractals to test and see if it fixed or not.

UPDATE: I have noticed that if I go with an LFG group(pugs), this crash doesnt happen, but If i go with friends/contacts the crash happens everytime. And if we start with swamp the crash ALWAYS occurs when entering the water after putting in the wisps.

After todays patch everytime I would enter a fractal I would instantly crash, and sometimes I’d notice some of my armor color would change right before it would happen.
Never had this problem before. Not sure if anyone else is having this happen to them aswell.

This has also started happening for me the past couple of days. Everytime I open the score board or when the score board pops up at the end of a match the game freezes. :/

Yup, I missed out on the last SAB cause of personal reasons. Ever since then seeing the mini assassin around I kick myself, cause i’ve always wanted it. So them adding the minis to the chest recently gave me hope I’d FINALLY be able to get it. If they never release SAB again and i can’t get that continue coin, them returning those minis will be the worst thing they could have done. >.<

I spent alot of gold and gems to get the SAB minis because I want the Super Assassin mini very badly. Well I managed to get the ones I needed before they removed them from the chests.

Only thing is.. now i have to wait for SAB to return(if it ever does) just so I can get a continue coin to put in the forge. It sucks that the coins are account bound. Bunch of friends still have coins. All I need is 1! >:|

I love it how they said months ago that SAB is not fitting LW and people will get confused. Well Anet, now you have no LW going on, so you might as well give us SAB so we have something to play.

What Anet did last night was pretty disrespecting.
- They put effort in 1 day basically.. adding sounds for airplane, music, etc etc … but they dont want to give us SAB.
- They put minis in blc and made it account bound so not all can have it.

I know $$$$$ is more important than anybodys fun! But c’mon, they’d earn so much more with SAB and minis being on gemstore.

AGREED! They should have put the SAB minis in the gemstore, its just awful trying to get them in the BLC. I still can’t believe I spent 300 gold on keys to just end up not getting them. Too much of a gamble.

Putting the SAB minis in the BL chests instead of the gem store just seems like such a money grab, cause they know how badly ppl want this. And thats their way of earning a bit of extra cash. I feel ashamed for spending 300G today buying keys, and just getting 1 SAB mini for it…

Ok so I’ve been wanting to get the Super Assassin mini cause I wasnt able to play when SAB happened last time, so they bring back the SAB mini’s, BUT if i get the minis I still can’t create Super Assassin because I won’t have a continue coin. ANET why must you do this to meeeeeeeeeee?!?!?

If in place of ‘…’ your world name is there, it’s not a megaserver.

Not ALL maps are megaservered. Bloodtide, Sparkfly and Frostgorge for instance are not.

Actually yes… yes they are. Frostgorge had been for awhile, and Sparkfly became megaserved about 4 hours ago. 20 minutes before teq spawned. Which caused a little bit of mess for people trying to organize it.

What makes this worse is that they have a limit of how many times you can do hot join a day to progress, you have to do most of it in the arena. Which means you could be waiting up to 20 minutes or much longer for a match to even get put together in solo arena.

All the time spent waiting for 1 piece of armor… when I/many others feel it should be a full SET as they say in the description.

I agree 100%, I’ve been doing Tequatl nearly every single day since this “new Teq” event started last year. While helping to get Teq organized everyday at reset time I’ve seen how much JQ had grown as a community. The reset kill time worked so well for so many people because most were just getting off work, getting home from school, or it was early enough before they had to sleep because of work or school the next day.

We understand the purpose of Megaserver(whenever it starts up for higher zones) to get more ppl involved with others. Which is great, we’ve never turned people down from helping out/doing teq at reset kill, we always look to get new ppl involved and teach them defenses. But pushing the spawn time so late in the night means many of the veterans who have also attended teq nearly everyday, now can’t do it. Because most have to sleep or just can’t be online late. I’ve enjoyed hanging out with many friends during Teq, that I’ve made from being involved with this. But now I can’t, just like many others can’t.

It’s unfair to those who can’t make it so late, it’s unfair to the community who have worked so hard the past year to get it built as strong as it is now. Forcing guilds to have to do their own spawns doesn’t help much when there is no realistic way for everyone to be able to have the requirements to have it done daily.

This whole new schedule for all the big boss events really should have had more thought into it, without disregarding all the communities that work hard daily to help get it done for everyone.

Hello Everyone, I have never used the trading post custom offer. But was considering it. But first there was something i wanted to understand.

If I place a custom offer for something at 2600 gold, and then someone decided to sell it for 2500 gold. Will I immediantly get the item if I am the highest bidder? or say I placed an offer at 2600, and someone else placed an offer at 2500. will the person who placed an offer at 2500 be the one to get it since it was sold at that price?

Any info on this would be very much appreciated.

Also, I highly recommend that you copy your entire installation folder to another location on your hard drive as a backup copy (or even just the Gw2.dat and Gw2.exe files). In the future, if there is a problem with your game to where you must uninstall and re-install it, then you can just copy the backup of the game over instead of having to re-download the entire thing again. As new updates get released frequently, you can either keep replacing your backup with the new files, or leave them alone and they’d only need to get the latest patch or so worth of files…still better than a full re-install and re-download.

Thank you StinVec!!! Clearing the cache fixed my problem. Before I created the topic I tried the repair method but had no luck. It didnt cross my mind to try and locate cache to delete.

Ever since the latest patch I keep crashing every single time either when I 1. Right click an item in inventory and selecting to choose to sell at trading post. or 2. When I click the trading post icon at top of screen.

Anyone else having this problem?

Hello all, I’m still fairly new to Guild Wars 2. Still learning so much. I have a question about changing servers. If I wanted to change servers will I lose Character and Map progress? My character is currently at level 33, and I have 15% map completed. Will I have to start over on all of that? Will I lose anything, like weapons etc.? Sorry if this is such a noob question, but still trying to learn as much as possible. hehe

Any info on this would be great.
